- No disease of bones and joints in the body
- Candidate should not have an antecedent of mental disorder or fits
- Candidate’s blood pressure should be normal
- No functional or inflammatory disease of the heart or blood vessels
- No physical disability
- Candidate should not be suffering from Claw Hand
- Candidate should be HIV free
- Male candidates should have 6/6 vision in each eye in the distance vision chart with or without glasses
- Candidate should not have colour blindness or night blindness
- Routine ECG and EEG should be in normal limits
- Candidate should have normal hearing capacity
- Candidate should not have hydrocele, varicocele or piles disease
- If a candidate is suffering from such a skin disease that can cause disability or disfigurement, then their candidature will be cancelled

Candidates must be aware of the following important points about the JPSC reservations:
- Only the candidates who are natives of the state of Jharkhand will be able to avail the benefits of reservation
