What's New in BSSC CGL ? BSSC CGL mains admit card 2023 has been released. The exam conducting body has released on the official webiste allowing candidates to check and download the hall ticket. Those who have successfully cleared the BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam are eligible to obtain their BSSC CGL Mains Admit Card. To access the BSSC CGL Hall Ticket, applicants must have their registration number and password on hand.

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced the results for the 3rd Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Main Examination. Those who have successfully cleared the BSSC CGL Main Examination have been selected for the scrutiny round. To view the results, candidates can visit the official website at bssc.bihar.gov.in.

BSSC CGL 3rd Main registration process has been started online. Candidates who are eligible to appear for the exam can visit the official webiste and fill in the BSSC CGL application form. The BSSC CGL 3rd Mains registration began on June 07, 2023, and will come to an end on June 27, 2023. A total of 2248 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Meanwhile, candidates must know that on May 21, 2023, the BSSS CGL released the preliminary test results. The results were released for the BSSC CGL Mains exam and more than 11,000 candidates have cleared the examination. 

BSSC Exam 2023:  BSSC also known as Bihar Staff Selection Commission is responsible for hiring people for various posts offered under the administration of the Bihar state government. The BSSC exam 2023  is conducted in offline mode and takes place once in a year. The BSSC exam is conducted in three stages including the prelims, mains and interview. Candidates are required to clear all three stages in order to get recruited for the post for which they have applied. 

Before filling the BSSC application form, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria laid out by the exam conducting body. BSSC Exam 2023

Bihar Staff Selection Commission conducts state-level exams for filling several posts offered under the administration of the Bihar government. These posts include Stenographer, Junior Account Clerk, LDC, Driver, etc. Apart from these posts, the body also recruits candidates for Subordinate Offices and  Railway & Industrial establishments. 

The BSSC exam has three levels which are a written examination, the second is interview round and the last one is document verification. Candidates have to clear all three levels to get recruited to the post for which they have filled the application form. Further, the BSSC examination has three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who will qualify for the prelims stage will be eligible to appear for the mains stage and will be eligible to appear for the interview round. The BSSC application mode is online and candidates can fill the form easily by visiting the official website of the exam conducting body. However, before filling the application form, candidates must check their eligibility for the BSSC exam 2023 and once the candidate fulfils the eligibility, then he or she will be able to fill the application form.

BSSC 2023 Admit Card

The BSSC admit card is released by the BSSC on its official website. The BSSC admit card 2023 will be released separately for each stage of the examination. Candidates can download the hall ticket by logging on to the portal. The hall ticket is an essential document for all the candidates who are appearing for the examination as without them candidates will not be eligible to appear for the examination. 

Apart from that, the BSSC hall ticket is an essential document and it consists of various important information including the name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate, exam date and venue and other information. BSSC 2023 Syllabus 

The BSSC syllabus is released on the official website. The syllabus is released in the official notification. The syllabus is prescribed by the BSSC and aspirants must know that the syllabus for prelims and mains are different in nature. Hence, candidates should only refer to the syllabus of the stage for which they are appearing. The syllabus consists of topics such as general studies, general Science and mathematics, reasoning and mental ability and other topics. 

While the prelims exam has subjects including general studies, general science and mathematics, comprehension/logical reasoning/ mental ability, the mains exam has two papers. BSSC mains paper 1 is in Hindi language and paper 2 has a similar subject as to what prelims exam.

BSSC 2023 Exam Pattern 

Apart from the syllabus, the BSSC exam pattern is also an essential step for candidates appearing for the examination. However, candidates must know that the exam pattern for prelims and mains exams are different compared to each other. The exam pattern will pay attention to topics such as number of questions, duration of exam and total marks.  The BSSC exam pattern is released along with the official notification. 

BSSC Exam Pattern for Prelims 

• Three topics are included in the prelims: general studies, mental capacity, comprehension/logical reasoning, and broad science and mathematics.
• There will be 50 questions in each subject, which makes a total of 150 questions in the exam.
• Candidates are required to finish the exam within the allotted time of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Each topic is given 200 marks, for a total of 600 points for the test.

BSSC Mains Exam pattern 

• Each paper takes 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Sections A, B, and C of paper 2 each have 50 questions, whereas paper 1 of the mains has 100 questions. A total of  250 questions are asked in total across both papers 1 and 2.
• Paper 1 of the main exam carries 400 marks, whereas sections A, B, and C of paper 2 each carry 200 marks. Paper 2 receives a total of 1000 marks when papers 1 and 2 are combined.
• There are two papers in the BSSC mains exam. While paper 1 is a Hindi language exam, paper 2 is similar to the one described in the prelims.

BSSC Results 2023

The BSSC results are released by BSSC on its official website. Further, the exam conducting body has already released the BSSC CGL Mains results on the official website. Candidates can check the results on the official website in the what's new section. Further, before releasing the results, the BSSC releases the answer key for the specific post. There are two types of answer keys.  While the first one is a provisional answer key which allows candidates to raise objections, the final answer key helps the candidate to calculate their score.

After the results are released, the exam conducting body will release the cut-off on its official website. The results help the candidate to know whether he or she has qualified for the examination or not. The list of applicants who have qualified for the exam is present on the result PDF. 

BSSC Cut-Off 2023

The State authorities will release the cut-offs along with the BSSC graduate-level results. Those whose marks exceed the minimum requirement, they will have their names listed on the merit list.
