JPSC Answer Key 2024: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) releases the official JPSC answer key on its website. It must be noted that the commission will be releasing two answer keys. One is the JPSC provisional answer key, that will be released a few days after the completion of the examination. JPSC Answer Key 2024

JPSC answer key 2024 will be made available on the official website after the conclusion of the combined civil services exam. 

Two types of answer keys are released by the JPSC, which are as follows:

JPSC Provisional Answer Key 2024

The provisional answer key is released just a few days after the completion of the examination. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to determine their score in the examination. In case of any discrepancy or errors, candidates can even challenge the answer key. To raise objections against the provisional answer key, candidates are required to send their objections to the authorities in a specific format. The procedure and specific format for raising objections against the answer key have been mentioned below in this article.

JPSC Final Answer Key 2024

The final answer key is released once the provisional answer key is revised. It must be noted that the JPSC Result 2024 and scores will be computed based on the final answer key only. Unlike the provisional answer key, the final answer key cannot be challenged. Candidates cannot raise any objections against the final answer key.

Once the official answer key is released on the official website, candidates can download the answer key using the answer key link.

• On the webpage, find the link to download the JPSC answer key 2024
• Click on the answer key link
• JPSC 2024 answer key will be displayed on the screen
• You can download the answer key and use it to determine your score in the examination

Steps to Raise Objections against JPSC Answer Key 2024

If a candidate finds any errors in the provisional JPSC answer key, they can raise objections against it. 

Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key with the help of the below-mentioned procedure:

• Candidates are required to send their objections along with the relevant proof/evidence in a single PDF format to the JPSC’s official mail ID
• It must be noted that the particular PDF must also contain the candidate’s roll number and registration/application number
• The size of the PDF should not exceed 22 MB
• Candidates must send in their objections to the commission within the stipulated time 
• Once the period for raising objections is over, the commission will not entertain any other objections
• Once the commission goes through the objections raised against the provisional answer key, they will release the revised or final answer key
• Candidates will be able to download the final answer key from the commission’s official website

Marks Calculation using JPSC Answer Key 2024

Candidates can use the JPSC answer key to determine their marks in the combined civil services examination. It must be noted that there is no provision for negative marking in the JPSC preliminary examination. Thus, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers or unattempted answers. 

However, if a candidate has marked more than one answer for a particular question, then the answer will be considered to be incorrect. In such cases, even if one of the answers given by the candidate is correct, no marks will be awarded to the candidate. Thus, candidates must ensure that they choose only one best answer for each question in JPSC prelims.
