JPSC Provisional Answer Key 2023
The provisional answer key is released just a few days after the completion of the examination. Candidates can use the provisional answer key to determine their score in the examination. The final answer key is released once the provisional answer key is revised. It must be noted that the JPSC 2023 Result and scores will be computed on the basis of the final answer key only. Unlike the provisional answer key, the final answer key cannot be challenged. Candidates cannot raise any objections against the final answer key.

Steps to Raise Objections against JPSC Answer Key 2023
If a candidate finds any errors in the provisional JPSC answer key, they can raise objections against it.
Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key with the help of the below-mentioned procedure:
- Candidates are required to send their objections along with the relevant proof/evidence in a single PDF format to the JPSC’s official mail ID
- It must be noted that the particular PDF must also contain the candidate’s roll number and registration/application number
- The size of the PDF should not exceed 22 MB
- Candidates must send in their objections to the commission within the stipulated time period
- Once the time period for raising objections is over, the commission will not entertain any other objections
- Once the commission goes through the objections raised against the provisional answer key, they will release the revised or the final answer key
- Candidates will be able to download the final answer key from the commission’s official website
Marks Calculation using JPSC Answer Key 2023
Candidates can use the JPSC answer key to determine their marks in the combined civil services examination. It must be noted that there is no provision for negative marking in the JPSC preliminary examination. Thus, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers or unattempted answers.
However, if a candidate has marked more than one answer for a particular question, then the answer will be considered to be incorrect. In such cases, even if one of the answers given by the candidate is correct, no marks will be awarded to the candidate. Thus, candidates must ensure that they choose only one best answer for each question in JPSC prelims.
