OPSC Answer Key 2023: OPSC also known as Odisha Public Service Commission is responsible for releasing the OPSC answer key. The answer key is released on the official website in PDF form. Candidates must know that the answer key is released before the declaration of results. The OPSC releases two types of answer keys - The provisional answer key and the final answer key. The mains aim behind releasing the answer key is to maintain the transparency level in the selection process.
The OPSC answer key consists of responses to those questions which were asked in the examination. Candidates are given the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key, whereas aspirants cannot challenge the final answer key. Further, candidates must know that the exam conducting body releases different answer keys for different posts.
The OPSC is a recruitment body which conducts recruitment exams for various posts under the government of Odisha. The OPSC exam has three stages - prelims, mains and interview. In order to qualify for the exam, candidates are required to clear all three stages one by one. Candidates must know that for the provisional answer, they will get a specific period of time wherein they can raise an objection. This time period is known as the 'objection-raising window.'
OPSC Answer Key
OPSC answer key is an essential document for all the candidates who will appear for the recruitment examination. First, the OPSC will release the provisional answer key first and will allow candidates to raise objections on the questions asked in the examination. On the other hand, the final answer key is generally released a day ahead of hours before the OPSC result declaration. Since the exam has three stages, the answer key for all three stages will be released separately.
Further, candidates must note that they should provide supporting evidence against the question they are challenging in the provisional answer key. Once the objection-raising window is closed, the authorities will analyse the challenge and a final answer key will be made.
OPSC Provisional Answer Key
OPSC releases the OPSC provisional answer key for the specific post for which the examination has been conducted. The term provisional answer key refers to the document wherein the candidates will be allowed to any question in the examination regarding which they feel the answer could be different as compared to the given by the authorities. Candidates have to raise objections during a set of times which is known as the 'objections raising window'.
Candidates must know that they need to provide supporting evidence with the objection they are raising. Once the objections have been raised the authority will look into those discrepancies and the final answer key will be made based on the analysis of the authorities.

Candidates must note that the exam conducting body releases the different answer keys for different posts. The final answer key will be released in PDF format on the official website. Usually, the final answer key is released a day before the result declaration or hours before the results are declared.
The OPSC final answer key helps the candidate calculate the score. However, aspirants must note that the answer key is not the result and it only allows the candidate to cross-verify the answers.
