For the position of DSSSB PGT, candidates are required to possess a master's degree in the relevant subject along with a diploma in Education.
For DSSSB PRT, candidates should have completed their 10+2 education and hold a degree such as B.El.Ed. Additionally, candidates must have successfully passed CTET Paper I to meet the eligibility criteria for the Primary Teacher position.

Nurse Grade – A	Candidates must have passed Class 10 matric and diploma in General Nursing. They must be registered as a Nurse in Nurses Council. Age Limit – 18-32 years
Laboratory Attendant	Candidates must have passed Class 10 from any recognised board. Age Limit – 18-27 years
Matron (Female Candidates Only)	Candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board. Age Limit – 18-27 years

The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) eligibility is released by DSSSB on the official website along with the vacancies. A PGT teacher is eligible to teach up to Class 12th. Librarian	Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in library science to apply for the DSSSB exam. Also, candidates must have a one-year certificate in computer application or experience of two years in library service/computerization of a library.
PGT (Agriculture) - Male	Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized university. Degree / Diploma in Training / Education.
PGT (Fine Arts) - Female	i. (a) Bachelor in Fine Art OR (b) Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Sr. School certificate exam with minimum 5 years (Full Time) diploma in Fine Art / Painting/ Drawing & Painting from a recognized institute/university. ii. A TGT teacher is eligible to teach students up to class 10th. Candidates applying for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) through DSSSB exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality.
