OPSC Exam 2024: Prelims Date, Eligibility, Registration, Pattern, Syllabus

OPSC Exam 2024: The Odisha Public Service Commission conducts the OPSC examination for various government vacancies in a year. Candidates interested in appearing for the examination are required to register for the examination online at opsc.gov.in. OPSC prelims was held on December 15, 2024.

Latest Updates:

• OPSC OCS application window for 2024-25 session is open at opsc.gov.in. Last date to apply online is February 10, 2025.
• OPSC OCS answer key for prelims was released on December 21, 2024 at opsc.gov.in. The objection window will close on December 30, 2024. 

The OPSC releases different notifications for different posts offered under the administration of the state government. Further, before applying for any of the posts, candidates must check their eligibility and then fill out the OPSC application form. Aspirants who will fill out the application form completely will be eligible to get their OPSC admit cards.  OPSC hall tickets are an essential document which candidates should have while appearing for the examination. 

OPSC Exam 2025

The OPSC exam notification for 2024-25 session has been released at opsc.gov.in. As per the official notice, the preliminary exam for OCS exam is expected to be held in July 2025. The application window for the exam has opened January 10, 2025 onwards. Candidates can register online till February 10, 2025. Check the official OPSC notification PDF below:

Candidates who are going to appear for the OPSC exam should know that they have to clear all three stages separately. Further, the exam conducting body will release separate admit cards, results and cut-off for all three stages.

OPSC Application Form 2024

Applicants who meet the OPSC eligibility criteria can then fill the application form for the exam. The OPSC exam has an online application process, and applicants can access the application form on the official website. The application process has several steps including filling out the form, uploading documents and paying the fees. 

Candidates had the chance to submit their applications for the Group A and B vacancies when the OPSC issued the application form. Applicants who submit their applications successfully will be eligible to get an OPSC admit card.

OPSC Admit Card 2024

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will release the admit card for the OPSC exam. The OPSC admit card is released for different posts offered by the exam conducting body. The OPSC hall ticket is an essential document which contains various details about the candidate such as the name of the candidate, the roll number of the candidate and other details. 

Candidates who forget the hall ticket to the exam centre will not be allowed to sit for the examination. The admit card is released on the official website and candidates can log in to access their document.

The syllabus for OCS is released by the OPSC itself on the official website. Candidates wanting to appear for the exam should first check the OPSC syllabus before beginning their preparation. Since the exam has three stages, candidates must know that the syllabus for Prelims and mains are different from each other

OPSC Exam Pattern 2024

For applicants taking the exam, the OPSC exam pattern is just as important as the other aspects. The exam pattern and qualifying marks provide information on which topic contains the most marks and how many marks are allocated to each topic. OPSC Result 2024

OPSC result is released by the commission on the official website - opsc.gov.in. Candidates can check their results on the what's new section of the homepage of the website. Since the result is an essential document, it consists of information of the candidate including their name, serial number, PPSAN number of the candidate, candidate's category, gender and other details.  Since the exam has three stages : Prelims, mains and interview, results will be declared for all three stages separately.
