What's New in OPSC Exam 2023? The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is preparing to unveil the preliminary answer key for the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) examination on its official website. Candidates who participated in the exam on October 15, 2023, will be able to access and download the answer key from this platform.
It has been reported that OPSC plans to release the OAS answer key during the first week of November 2023. This answer key will comprise the responses provided by students and the corresponding correct answers for each question. This will enable candidates to cross-reference their responses and estimate their approximate scores prior to the normalization process.
OPSC Exam 2023: The OPSC is set to conduct the written examination to recruit candidates for the post of 'Insurance Medical Officer'. The exam took place on May 07, 2023, which is a Sunday. Further, the detailed programme of examination including the venue of the exam and centres is yet to be notified by the exam conducting body.
OPSC also known as Odisha Public Service Commission is the exam conducting body which conducts exams for various posts offered under the administration of the government of Odisha. The OPSC exam is conducted in three stages: prelims, mains and interviews. OPSC prelims are the first stage which is also known as the screen testing. Candidates have to clear that test in order to be eligible to appear for the mains's exam. Further, those candidates who will clear the prelims and the mains exam will be eligible to appear for the interview round.
The OPSC releases different notifications for different posts offered under the administration of the state government. OPSC Overview 2023
Candidates who are going to appear for the OPSC exam should know that they have to clear all three stages separately. Further, the exam conducting body will release separate admit cards, results and cut-off for all three stages. As per the notice issued by the OPSC, the exam for Medical Officer (MO) was held on February 20, 2023, and the exam for VET (assistant surgeon) was held on February 22, 2023.
In order to prepare for the recruitment exam, candidates must be well-versed with the OPSC syllabus, exam pattern and marking scheme. The OPSC exam dates will be released on the official website and candidates can check the information in the What's New section of the homepage. Further, before releasing the result, the exam conducting body will release answer keys: provisional and final answer keys. After the release of the answer key, the OPSC results will be declared along with the cut-off.

OPSC Exam Dates 2023
The Odisha Public Service Commission provides OPSC dates on its official website. The OPSC has already made the OPSC application forms available for the various posts for which the exams will be conducted. On December 30, 2022, an official notification regarding the application form for the post offered under Group A and B of the exam was released.
The Odisha Administrative Service (Junior Branch) is offered under the Group A posts. On the other hand, Group B of the OPSC test offers posts such as Odisha Cooperative Service, Labor Service, Revenue Service, Transport Service, and Taxation and Accounts. The online application link was made available from January 17 until February 16, 2023

NOTE: Aspirants of the PWD category will be given one hour additional for the examination Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) as well as in the VET exam.
OPSC Application Process
Applicants who meet the OPSC eligibility criteria can then fill the application form for the exam. The OPSC exam has an online application process, and applicants can access the application form on the official website. The application process has several steps including filling out the form, uploading documents and paying the fees.
Candidates had the chance to submit their applications for the Group A and B vacancies when the OPSC issued the application form. Applicants who submit their applications successfully will be eligible to get an OPSC admit card.

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will release the admit card for the OPSC exam. The OPSC admit card is released for different posts offered by the exam conducting body. OPSC Stage 3: Personality Test
Candidates who reach the last stage of the exam which is the personality test should know that this section contains 250 marks. Applicants can take the personality test if they pass the preliminary and Mains exams. Candidates must pass the personality test, which is also known as the interview, in order to be recruited for the posts they have applied for.
OPSC Results
OPSC Results are released by OPSC on the official website. Candidates can check their results on the what's new section of the homepage of the website. Since the result is an essential document, it consists of information of the candidate including their name, serial number, PPSAN number of the candidate, candidate's category, gender and other details. Since the exam has three stages : Prelims, mains and interview, results will be declared for all three stages separately.
