OPSC Exam 2025: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination for the 2024 cycle on October 12, 2025.  The commission conducts the OPSC examination in Odisha for various government vacancies in a year. Candidates interested in appearing for the OPSC OCS examination are required to register for the examination online at opsc.gov.in.

• The commission has announced that the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2024 will be conducted on October 12, 2025. 

The OPSC releases separate notifications for different posts offered under the administration of the state government. Furthermore, candidates must check their eligibility and then fill out the OPSC application form. Aspirants who have filled out the application form are eligible to receive OPSC admit cards.  OPSC hall tickets are an essential document that candidates should carry along while appearing for the examination. 

The examination will be held in three stages: Preliminary examination, Mains Examination, and Interview(Personality Test). Preliminary exam consists of two objective papers: General Studies I and General Studies II. Paper I covers topics like Indian history, geography, Indian polity, and current affairs. While paper II focuses on general science, mental ability, and decision making. The Mains examination is divided across five compulsory and four optional subject papers. The compulsory papers are Paper I - Odia language, Paper II - English, Paper III - English Essay, Paper IV - General Studies I, and Paper V - General Studies II.

Candidates appearing for the OPSC exam should know that they have to clear all three stages, i.e, Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Further, the exam conducting body will release separate admit cards, results, and cut-offs for all three stages. 

The OPSC OCS Notification for the 2024 cycle was released in January 2025, with the application window open from January 10 to February 10, 2025. OPSC Application Form 2025

Applicants who meet the OPSC eligibility criteria can then fill the application form for the exam. The OPSC exam has an online application process, and applicants can access the application form on the official website. The application process has several steps including filling out the form, uploading documents and paying the fees. 

Candidates had the chance to submit their applications for the Group A and B vacancies when the OPSC issued the application form. Applicants who submit their applications successfully will be eligible to get an OPSC admit card.

OPSC Admit Card 2025

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will release the admit card for the OPSC exam. The OPSC admit card is released for different posts offered by the exam conducting body. The OPSC hall ticket is an essential document which contains various details about the candidate such as the name of the candidate, the roll number of the candidate and other details. 

Candidates who forget the hall ticket to the exam centre will not be allowed to sit for the examination. The admit card is released on the official website and candidates can log in to access their document.

OPSC Exam Pattern 2025

For applicants taking the exam, the OPSC exam pattern is just as important as the other aspects. The exam pattern and qualifying marks provide information on which topic contains the most marks and how many marks are allocated to each topic. OPSC Result 2025

OPSC result is released by the commission on the official website - opsc.gov.in. Candidates can check their results on the what's new section of the homepage of the website. Since the result is an essential document, it consists of information of the candidate including their name, serial number, PPSAN number of the candidate, candidate's category, gender and other details.  Since the exam has three stages : Prelims, mains and interview, results will be declared for all three stages separately.
