BSSC Cut-Off 2023: BSSC cut-off is released after the declaration of recruitment exam results. The cut-off is released on the official website in a PDF format. Candidates should know that the BSSC cut-off is the minimum mark that a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the examination. Candidates should note that the BSSC examination has three states including prelims, mains and interviews. Hence, the exam conducting body will release three different cut-offs for all three stages. Since cut-offs for each stage are released, candidates who will qualify for a score equal to or higher than the prescribed cut-off will be eligible to appear for the next round of the examination. If a candidate is unable to score equal to the cut-off marks, then he or she will not be qualified for the next level. BSSC Cut-Off 2023 

The BSSC cut-off determines whether the candidate has qualified for the examination or not. The BSSC cut-off is released separately for each stage. This means that the exam conducting body will release the cut-off for prelims, then for mains and lastly for interview. Hence, candidates should check the cut-off for the respective stage of the exam in which they have appeared.  After the BSSC results are released, the BSSC cut-off will be released.

Once the BSSC has released the results, the authorities will also declare the cut-off. The cut-off for the recruitment examination will be determined by the BSSC official and they will be responsible for releasing the cut-off on the official website.

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the ‘what’s new section’ – click on that 

Step 3: Once the candidate lands on the what’s new section, they will find the results as well as the cut-off link for the examination for which they have appeared 

Step 4: Click on the link 

Step 5: Candidates will be able to see the results in one PDF and in another, the cut-off for the specific year and post will be shown 

Step 6: Check both documents and download 

NOTE: Once checked and downloaded, candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the document for future reference. 

Factors Determining the BSSC Cut-Off

When the BSSC cut-off is prepared, there are several factors which determine the cut-off. Candidates can take the following factors into consideration while checking the results. 

• Number of candidates who appeared for the examination 
• The difficulty level of the examination
• Number of vacancies released for the post 

NOTE: Category is also counted as one of the determining factors for cut-off. If the number of vacancies is reduced, then there are chances that the cut-off for the specific post and year is increased. On the other hand, if the vacancies for the specific year have been increased, then there are chances that the cut-off will decrease. 

BSSC Previous Year Cut-Off 

Since the exam conducting body is yet to release the cut-off for the BSSC 2022-23 prelims examination, candidates are advised to check the previous year's category to have an idea of how the cut-off was for 2021. 

BSSC Minimum Qualifying Marks 

The BSSC minimum qualifying marks refer to the minimum score that a candidate needs to score in order to pass the examinations and move to the next stage of the BSSC exam. Candidates must know that the minimum qualifying marks differ for candidates belonging to different categories. Hence, candidates should only check those marks from the category they belong to.

BSSC Results 

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) releases the BSSC results on the official website. Candidates can download the results by checking the what's new section of the BSSC website. However, aspirants must note that there are 3 stages of examination and the results are released separately for each stage. Hence, candidates should download the results for the post which they appeared for. 

Before releasing the results, the exam conducting body releases answer keys. There are two types of answer keys. While the first one is the provisional answer key which allows the candidate to raise questions, the other one is the final answer key which helps the candidate to calculate the scores. 

Steps to Check BSSC Results

Once the results are declared, candidates can check the results by following these simple steps. 

Step 1: First candidates should go to the official website of BSSC

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates have to look for a link that reads 'notice board' 

Step 3: Now, applicants must search for the Link to the BSSC 3rd graduate-level final results. Once found, click on it 

Step 4: At this point, applicants may need to log in using their registration or roll number.

Step 5: After logging in, applicants will get a PDF with the names of students who have passed the stage.

Step 6: Applicants should use CTRL+F to get their roll number and enter it.

Step 7: If the applicant passed the test, their roll number will show up on the computer screen.
