The BSSC exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post offered by the government of Bihar. Candidates must know that they are required to clear all three stages of the examination, and then only they will get recruited. The duration of the BSSC exam for prelims and mains is 2 hours 15 minutes. While the total marks in the prelims exam is 600, the total marks for the mains is 1000. BSSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2023
- The Prelims exam is also known as the screening stage and the candidates have to clear this stage in order to appear for the other stage.
- The prelims stage has 3 subjects including general studies, comprehension/logical reasoning/ mental ability and general science and mathematics.
- The duration of the examination is 2 hours 15 minutes and candidates have to complete the exam in the given duration.
- Since there are 3 subjects in mains, each of them has 50 questions which makes the total as 150 questions.
- All three subjects consists of 200 marks respectively which makes the total marks in the exam as of 600
