SSC CHSL 2024:  Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL 2024 exam calendar. According to the the details shared by the exam conducting body, the SSC CHSL notification 2024 will be released on April 2, 2024. Later, the last date to fill the application form is set as May 1, 2024. The precise date for the SSC CHSL exam in 2024 has not been officially announced by the SSC yet. Nonetheless, the examination authority has provided a tentative timeframe, indicating that the SSC CHSL exam for 2024 is anticipated to occur in either June or July 2024. 


What's New in SSC CHSL Exam 2023? SSC has released the SSC CHSL admit card 2023. The hall tickets were released on the official webiste. Candidates can download the SSC CHSL admit card by visiting the official webiste and using their credentials including date of birth and application number. Meanwhile, the SSC CHSL exam date 2023 is set as November 02, 2023.

SSC CHSL has released the SSC CHSL Tier 1 result 2023. Candidates can check the result on the official website by using their credentials. A total of 19,566 students have qualified the SSC CHSL tier 1 exam 2023. These candidates will now further be eligible to appear for the SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2023.

Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CHSL exam notification on its official webiste. As per the notification, a total of 1600 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Meanwhile, SSC CHSL tier 1 exam 2023 has already been conducted. Now, students who have qualified the SSC CHSL tier 1 exam 2023 are gearing for the SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2023. The exam will be held on November 02, 2023. Further, the exam conducting body will also release the SSC CHSL tire 2 admit card 2023, a week before the commencement of the examination. 

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result 2022-23 has been released on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result by visiting the SSC CHSL login page. Further, the SSC has also released SSC CHSL cut off 2023. Both result and cut off 2023 are released on the official website. 

SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2022-23 began on June 26, 2023. Candidates who have registered for the exam are required to have their SSC CHSL Tier 2 admit card. Candidates without the hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam 2022 was conducted in 2 shifts on the same date. Meanwhile, SSC CHSL tier 1 exam date 2023 is set as August 02, 2023, to August 22, 2023.  On the other hand, SSC CHSL last date to apply 2023 was 8th June 2023. 

SSC CHSL 2023: SSC conducted the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam 2022 on June 26, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam are required to enter the exam hall with SSC CHSL Tier 2 admit card. Meanwhile,  SSC has released the official notification SSC CHSL official notification 2023. As per the official notification, the SSC CHSL application process started on May 09, 2023, and came to an end on June 08, 2023. Also, the last date and time for submitting the fees is set as June 08, 2023. Further, the SSC CHSL exam 2023 Tier 1 exam started on August 02, 2023, and will conclude on August 22, 2023. Meanwhile, SSC CGL posts including Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators will be filled by candidates who will qualify for the exam.

Candidates shortlisted through the SSC CHSL examination will be entitled to salary packages under the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission. The basic salary of SSC CHSL recruits will be in the range of Rs.19,900-25,000. The SSC CHSL salary structure is listed below in the table:

SSC CHSL 2023 Eligibility

Candidates applying for the CHSL are required to fulfil the SSC CHSL eligibility criteria prescribed in the SSC CHSL Notification 2022-23. The eligibility criteria for the examination will be based on nationality, Age and educational qualification. 

  • Nationality: Candidates applying for the SSC CHSL 2023 must be citizens of India. Along with this, the candidates who are a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 are also eligible to apply for the exam. 
  • Age Limit: The maximum and minimum age limit to fill SSC CHSL 2023 application form is 18 to 32 years as prescribed in the SSC CHSL 2023 Notification. However, age relaxation has been provided to reserved category candidates. 
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree 10+2 qualification from a recognized board.

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam  Pattern 

The SSC CHSL exam pattern consists of tier 1 exam and it will be conducted in computer-based mode and will have 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) from four sections– English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness. 

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 2 Exam  Pattern 

The SSC CHSL  Tier 2 exam will be in objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module II of Section-III. Since SSC CHSL tier II has two sessions, the first session in which sections 1 module 1 and module 2 have 60 questions whereas sections 2 module 1 and 2 has also 60 questions. Section 3 module 1 has 15 questions. 

SSC CHSL Skill Test/ Typing Test 

The Skill Test will be conducted for candidates opting for the Data Entry Operator post while the Typing test will be conducted for the post of  PA/SA & LC. The Skill Test/ Typing Test is only qualifying and is not considered while preparing the final merit list.

SSC CHSL 2023 Syllabus

The SSC CHSL syllabus 2023 is prescribed in the official notification. It provides comprehensive information of all the topics and subtopics from which the commission will curate the question papers for the recruitment examination. 

SSC CHSL 2023 Exam: Tier-I Syllabus 

As per the SSC CHSL official notification, the tier 1 syllabus is based on four subjects– English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness. Generally, the questions asked in the SSC CHSL are of easy to moderate difficulty level.

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 2 Syllabus

The candidate will have to write a 200-250 words essay along with a 200-250 words letter/application 

SSC CHSL Vacancies 2022-23

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2023 vacancies in due course after the release of the official notification. SSC CHSL 2023 Admit Card

SSC CHSL 2023 Admit Card is released for candidates who have successfully completed the application process. SSC circulars mention that the admit cards will be uploaded to the regional offices' websites approximately seven days prior to the examination. The SSC CHSL admit card will be released in the 3 stages.

SSC CHSL 2023 Results

SSC CHSL Results will be released in 4 stages. Along with the results, candidates will also be able to download the merit list and cutoff of that particular phase of the examination on the official website of the SSC @ssc.nic.in. 

SSC CHSL 2023 Results Tier 1

The Commission usually releases the results for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination after two months from the successful completion of the examination process. Candidates will be able to check their individual scorecards from their respective regional website.

SSC CHSL 2023 Results Tier 2

Candidates shortlisted to appear for the  SSC CHSL Tier 2 examination will be able to check the results along with the cutoff list. Candidates will be available on the website of the Commission for a certain period after the release of the results. Candidates are expected to download SSC CHSL results PDF  in that span.

SSC CHSL 2023  Final Results 

As per the SSC CHSL final results notification,  the selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments/ Offices to the candidates in based on their qualification in DV and Tier-III (Skill Test) and their performance in ‘Tier-I +Tier-II’ examinations, along with the preference of Posts/ Departments given by them at the time of Document Verification. 

Candidates may check their individual marks by using their Registration No. and registered password and click on the Result/Marks tab on the SSC Website’s candidate dashboard. 

SSC CHSL 2023 Cut Off

Candidates applying for the SSC CHSL 2023 must have knowledge about the SSC CHSL cutoff for qualifying the examination. SSC CHSL exam is conducted in two tiers, However, the final merit list is created on the basis of results of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 examination only. Tier 2 session II has been divided into two parts which consist of a test/skill test which needs to be qualified for being eligible for the selection process.

What is the SSC CHSL 2022 Tier-1 Exam Pattern?

The SSC CHSL 2021-22 Tier-I examination is an online, objective multiple-choice test. The exam is divided into four portions, each with 25 questions, totalling 100 questions and 200 marks (maximum 50 marks in each section). The Tier-1 exam will last for 60 minutes (80 Minutes for candidates eligible for scribes).

What is the difference between SSC CHSL Tier 1 and 2?

SSC CHSL consist of two tiers. While tier 1 is conducted in CBT mode, tier 2 takes place in offline mode. Tire 1 is descriptive in nature, and tier 2 is Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-3. 

Do SSC CHSL Tier 1 has negative marking?

Yes, SSC CHSL has a negative marking which means that for each wrong answer 0.5 marks will be deducted.
