SSC CHSL Vacancies 2024: The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2024 vacancies after the release of the official notification on April 2, 2024. Usually, the Commission releases the tentative SSC CHSL vacancies once the examination process begins. The SSC CHSL 2024 Tier 1 examination will be conducted in June or July, 2024.

There are around 1600 tentative vacancies. However, candidates must note that the vacancies will be determined in due course. Observing the vacancy notification trends for other examinations conducted by SSC, it is expected that there will be a significant increase in the number of CHSL vacancies available for recruitment.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination for Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for different positions.

In the last 4 years, SSC has released an average of around 5000 vacancies. In particular, the highest number of vacancies are released for the post of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant followed by Lower Divisional Clerks and Junior Secretariat Assistant, and lastly for the Data entry operators. The SSC CHSL previous year vacancies are provided in the table below. The commission doesn't collect state-wise/zone-wise vacancies and candidates will have to contact the user departments for state-wise/zone-wise vacancies.

Overall recruitment will be conducted on 6865 vacancies, out of which 793 vacancies are designated for specially-abled candidates.
