For the last year's session, the SSC CGL Tier 2 answer key has been released. Students who sat for the SSC CGL exam can download their answer key using login credentials such as their registration number and password. They can also challenge it for INR 100 per question. The SSC CGL result for Tier 2 is expected to be released in March 2025. The date for the CGL result will be announced by the commission soon on the official website - ssc.gov.in. 

SSC CGL Exam 2025

SSC CGL Registration 2025

SSC CGL application form 2025 will be released on April 22, 2025. The last date to apply for SSC CGL 2025 is May 21, 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register for the exam at ssc.nic.in. Applicants who are registering for the exam first time have to fill out the complete application form. Already registered candidates will see that their application form will be already half filled. However, they have to pay the registration fee of INR 100 to successfully complete the application process.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates aspiring to appear for the SSC CGL 2025 are required to fulfil eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Commission. Candidates can check below the SSC CGL eligibility criteria. 

• Nationality: Candidates applying for the SSC CGL 2025 must be citizens of India. Along with this, the candidates who are a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 are also eligible to apply for the exam. 
• Age Limit: The maximum and minimum age limit to fill SSC CGL 2025 application form is 18 to 32 years as on January 01, 2023. However, age relaxation has been provided to reserved category candidates. 
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or institution. However, candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply provided they possess essential qualifications on or before the cut-off date i.e. 08th October 2022. 

SSC CGL Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Exam is conducted in 2 tiers – Tier-1, and Tier 2. Candidates have to qualify for each tier to become eligible for appearing in the subsequent phases of the examination. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 

• SSC will conduct Tier 1 in Computer Based mode. 
• The exam has 4 subjects including General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. 
• The Tier 1 examination is conducted for a duration of 1 hour where the students will have to answer 100 questions of 2 marks each. 
• For every wrong answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted from the score

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

• SSC has revised the Examination pattern for Tier 2 in 2022.
• As per the SSC CGL new examination pattern, the Tier 2 examination is conducted for 4 papers. 
• Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.  
• The duration for paper 1 is 150 Minutes and 120 Minutes each for Paper 2 and 3

SSC CGL Salary 2025

The candidates qualifying the SSC CGL examination are recruited in Group B and Group C. The SSC CGL salary for candidates qualifying for Group B gazetted post is based on Pay Level-8 and the salary range for this pay is between Rs. 47600 to 1,51,100.

Meanwhile, candidates qualifying SSC CGL exams for the group B & C posts are salaried in 4 different pay levels, starting from level 4 and going till level 7. The salary range for this group is between 25,500 to 1,51,100.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2025

After the completion of the application process, SSC will release the admit card for the Tier 1 examination in due course, The SSC CGL admit card is generally released 10 days before the examination. Candidates who have successfully applied for the SSC CGL Examination will have to download the admit card from the regional SSC website. The SSC CGL Hall Ticket will have information regarding the examination centre, the timing of the examination, and application details.

SSC CGL Answer Key 2025

Once the Examination is conducted, the commission releases a provisional answer key and response sheet. Candidates can also challenge the provisional answer key by submitting a fee of Rs 100/ Question. Once the Challenge widow closes, SSC will release the final answer key, and then the results for the examination will be declared.

SSC CGL selection process is conducted in multiple stages. The exam conducting body has released the SSC Results for the final stage 2022 on the official website. SSC CGL Cut Off 2025
