SSC CGL Application Form 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) opened the SSC CGL application correction window 2026 on July 1 and the last date to make changes is July 3, 2026. SSC reopened the SSC CGL registration window 2026 on June 23, 2026 for all those applicants who did not applied for the SSC CGL exam 2026 due to several reasons. The last chance to submit the SSC CGL application form was June 25, 2026 till 11 PM after that no application forms was accepted by the conducting body. The last date to pay the application fees was June 26, 2026. Before filling out the SSC CGL form, candidates were advised to check the SSC CGL eligibility criteria. Earlier the last date to submit the application form was June 22, 2026. 

SSC CGL application process 2026 included various steps such as filling in the information, uploading required documents, and paying the application fees. The commission also opened the SSC CGL form correction window for candidates. The correction window is for those applicants who wish to make changes in the details that they have filled in the application form, and the details submitted are not correct.

Those who completed the registration process, will be eligible to download their SSC CGL admit card 2026 from the official website. Meanwhile, the date for the hall ticket release for the SSC CGL exam is yet to be confirmed by the commission. Also, candidates must be aware that the hall tickets for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be released separately.

SSC CGL Application Form - Details Required 

To begin the application process, candidates are required to register for the SSC CGL registration. While filling the registration form, candidates have to provide the following details:

• Candidate Name 
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• E-mail 
• Mobile Number

Once the registration form is filled out, the candidates will receive the registration ID and password at their registered mobile number and email.

Candidates can use the registration ID and password to apply for SSC CGL Exams along with other recruitment exams conducted by the Commission.

SSC CGL Registration Fees 2026

SSC CGL application fee is Rs. 100/-. Candidates who are female and belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), the Scheduled Tribe (ST), an ESM qualified for reservation, or who have a benchmark disability (PwBD) are not required to pay any application fees. 

• Candidates can make the payment of the application fee in both online and offline modes. Online payment can be made through BHIM UPI/Net Banking or by using a Visa/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/RuPay debit card.
• Candidates can make the payment in the offline mode by visiting the nearest SBI bank and making the payment using SBI Challan.
• Candidates seeking correction will have to pay an application correction fee of Rs 200 for the first time and Rs 500 for the second time. The application correction fee is payable regardless of gender/ category.

SSC CGL Registration 2026: Steps to Apply 

The SSC CGL application process is conducted in two parts – Registration and Application. Candidates can apply for the SSC CGL Examination by following the simple step-by-step guide mentioned below:

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) @ssc.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, find the registration window, and register as a new user.

Step 3: Once the registration process is completed, log in using the allotted credentials. 

Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply’ button.

Step 5: On the next page, click on the link that reads, ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026’.

Step 6: Fill in all the details and upload the scanned copies of all the required documents

Step 7: Before finally submitting the application form, thoroughly review if all the details mentioned in the application form are correct.

Step 8: Candidates can pay the application fees in online or offline mode

SSC CGL Application Form 2026: Correction Window 

The Commission has provide candidates with a window to make changes to their application form. Candidates may submit their applications again through the correction window after making the necessary changes or corrections. The last date to make changes is July 3, 2026.

In the Application Correction box, candidates will have two opportunities to modify and fix their applications. Candidates will have to pay a correction charge of Rs. 200/- for the first time. However, if the candidates apply for correction for the second time, they will have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/-. The correction charges are levied on all the candidates, irrespective of their gender/ category.

The SSC CGL application correction window will only be available to those candidates who have completed the applications along with payment of the application fee in the primary application window. Candidates will not be allowed to make changes after the second correction and the closing of the correction window.
