SSC CGL Application Form: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC Calendar 2024 at ssc.nic.in. As per the official calendar released by the commission, the SSC CGL registration 2024 will start on June 11, 2024. The last date to fill out the SSC CGL form is July 10, 2024. Before filling out the SSC CGL application, candidates are advised to check the SSC CGL eligibility criteria. The tentative schedule for the SSC CGL exam 2024 is set for September-October 2024.

SSC CGL application process 2024 includes various steps such as filling in the information, uploading required documents and paying the application fees. The commission also opens the form correction window for candidates. The correction window is for those applicants who wish to make changes in the details which they have filled in the application form and the details submitted are not correct.

After completing the registration process, candidates will be eligible to download their SSC CGL admit card 2024 from the official website. Meanwhile, the date for the hall ticket release for the SSC CGL exam is yet to be confirmed by the commission. Also, candidates must be aware that the hall tickets for both Tier 1 and 2 will be released separately.

SSC CGL 2024: New Registration 

To begin the application process, candidates are required to register for the SSC CGL registration. While filling the registration form, candidates have to provide the following details:

  • Candidate Name 
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • E-mail 
  • Mobile Number

Once the registration form is filled out, the candidates will receive the registration ID and password in their registered mobile number and email.

Candidates can use the registration ID and password to apply for SSC CGL Exams along with other recruitment exams conducted by the Commission.

SSC CGL 2024: Application Fee

SSC CGL 2024 application fee is Rs.100/-. Candidates who are female and belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), an ESM qualified for reservation, or who have a benchmark disability (PwBD) are not required to pay any application fees. 

  • Candidates can make the payment of the application fee in both online and offline mode. Online payment can be made through BHIM UPI/Net Banking or by using Visa/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/RuPay debit card.
  • Candidates can make the payment in the offline mode by visiting the nearest SBI bank and making the payment using SBI Challan.
  • Candidates seeking correction will have to pay an application correction fee of Rs 200 for the first time and Rs 500 for the second time. The application correction fee is payable regardless of gender/ category.

SSC CGL 2024 Exam: Steps to Apply 

The SSC CGL application process is conducted in two parts – Registration and Application. Candidates can apply for the SSC CGL Examination by following the simple step-by-step guide mentioned below:

Step 1:Candidates need to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) @ssc.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, find the registration window, and register as a new user.

Step 3: Once the registration process is completed, log in using the allotted credentials. 

Step 4: Click on the ‘Apply’ button.

Step 5: On the next page, click on the link that reads, ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2023’.

Step 6: Fill in all the details and upload the scanned copies of all the required documents

Step 7: Before finally submitting the application form, thoroughly review if all the details mentioned in the application form are correct.

Step 8: Candidates can pay the application fees in online or offline mode 

NOTE: Those candidates who will fill the application form correctly will be eligible to get their SSC CGL admit card 2023.

SSC CGL 2024 Exam: Correction Window 

The Commission will provide candidates with a window to make changes in their application form from 10-05-2023 to 11-05-2023 (23:00). Candidates may submit their applications again through the correction window after making the necessary changes or corrections.

In the Application Correction box, candidates will have two opportunities to modify and fix their applications. Candidates will have to pay a correction charge of Rs. 200/- for the first time. However, if the candidates apply for correction for the second time, they will have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/-. The correction charges are levied on all the candidates, irrespective of their gender/ category.

SSC CGL application correction window will only be available to those candidates who have successfully completed the applications along with payment of the application fee in the primary application window. Candidates will not be allowed to make changes after the second correction and the closing of the correction window.
