GPSC Exam 2023: GPSC also known as Gujarat Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting state civil service exams. GPSC Exam 2023

GPSC exam 2023 is a recruitment examination for candidates who wish to work for the state government. The exam is conducted for different posts under Class 1 and 2 groups. The GPSC exam has three stages. The first stage is the Prelims stage, the candidate who qualifies for the first stage is eligible to appear for the next stage which is the GPSC mains exam. The age limit criteria are different for candidates belonging to different categories. The minimum age for candidates belonging to the general category is set as 20 years old whereas the maximum age limit is kept as 35 years old.

Given the requirement that the candidate must have served in the military for 5 years, the candidate will receive a complete military year relaxation as well as an extra 3-year relaxation.

GPSC Education Qualification 2023

Candidates may apply for the GPSC Exam 2023 if they have a bachelor's degree from an accredited state or central institution or if they are in their exam's final semester. Candidates can also apply for the GPSC Exam if they hold a postgraduate degree.

GPSC Exam Pattern 2023

Gujarat Public Service Commission releases the GPSC exam pattern for prelims, mains and interview. The primary goal of the GPSC exam design is to provide clarity on issues such as test type, length, the total number of questions, and whether or not the exam involves negative marking. The exam duration for both prelims and mains is 3 hours for each paper. 

While the prelims exam has two papers for 200 marks each, the mains exam has 6 subjects and each paper carries 150 marks. On the other hand, the interview stage is of 100 marks. Candidates have to qualify at each stage in order to get recruited for the post they have applied for.
