Step 4: After clicking on the advertisement section, candidates will find the notification and application form regarding the post for which they want to get recruited  -- click on that

GPSC Admit Card 2023 

Once the candidate has filled the application form successfully and submitted the form, then he or she will be eligible to get the GPSC admit card. GPSC Selection Process 

GPSC is a state PCS which is similar to UPSC. The GPSC exam has three phases including prelims, mains and interviews. Candidates are required to clear all three levels in order to get recruited to the post they have applied. Candidates can take a look at the following selection process for the GPSC examination. 

1. Prelims Stage 

This is the first stage for candidates who have filled out the GPSC examination form. Prelims are also known as the preliminary or screening stage of candidates appearing in the examination. The exam conducted in the prelims stage is objective in nature. The prelims exam consists of two question papers and each paper carries a total of 200 marks. As a result, the total marks of the prelims exam is 400. Candidates will be given a total of 3 hours to complete the examination. 

1. Mains Stage 

Candidates who will qualify for the prelims stage will be then eligible to appear for the Mains stage. The mains exam is the second stage of the examination. The marks of this stage along with the third and last stage will be added together to make a merit list. The mains exam consists of 6 papers and each exam is of 150 marks which makes the total 900 marks. Further, the GPSC mains exam is descriptive in nature and candidates are given three hours to complete the exam. 

1. Interview Stage

The interview is the final stage for candidates who appeared for the GPSC exam. The interview is a one-on-one round between the candidates and the jury who will be conducted the examination. Further, candidates who will qualify for both the stages including prelims and mains will be eligible to sit for the interview round. The interview round is for 100 marks. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their personality, awareness of day-to-day activities and general knowledge and others.
