  • The GPSC prelims syllabus has two subjects including General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II

  • Each exam is of 200 marks which mean that the total marks in the prelims exam are 400 marks

Once the candidate has cleared the GPSC prelims exam, they will be eligible to appear for the GPSC Mains exam. The main exam is conducted in descriptive form. There are 6 subjects in the GPSC syllabus and each exam is conducted for 3 hours. Once the candidate has qualified for the GPSC mains exam, then the students will be eligible to appear for the interview stage. The interview stage is the final stage.
