CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the final CBSE date sheet for class 10 students. CBSE 10th Exam 2026 is re-scheduled from February 17 to March 11, 2026. From 2026, CBSE will be conducting two board exams for class 10. The dates for the 2nd board exams are May 15 to June 1, 2026. Those who are appearing for the annual board exams can download the official CBSE board exam date 2026 through the official website - cbse.gov.in. CBSE 10th practical exams are scheduled from January 1 to February 14, 2026, however, for winter-bound schools will be conducted from November 6 to December 6, 2025. 

Latest Update - CBSE 10th exam 2026 scheduled on March 3, 2026 has been rescheduled due to administrative reasons. Now, the CBSE board class 10 exam on Tibetan, German, NCC, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Japenese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, Mizo, Bahasa Melayu and Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy will be conducted on March 11, 2026.

From the academic year 2025-26 onwards, CBSE has introduced the two board exam policy. The first exam will start in Mid-February while the second exam will be held in May 2026. CBSE has released the tentative dates for the class 10 exam dates for 1st Phase to be Feb 17 to March 9, 2026 and May 15 to June 1, 2026 for the 2nd Phase. The final exam dates will be announced after the schools have submitted the list of students.The exam duration of each subject varies from 2-3 hours. The duration of most subjects is 2hrs (10:30 AM-12:30 PM); while for some subjects the duration is 3 hrs (10:30 AM -1:30 PM).

Students must be aware of the exam date sheet and plan their preparation schedule accordingly. The board has ensured that they give enough time to the students to prepare well for the CBSE 10th exam 2026. Students must wear their proper school uniform and carry their CBSE 10th admit card 2026 and school ID to enter the exam centre. Students must also follow all the guidelines and instructions mentioned on their admit cards. This year, the CBSE date sheet was out 146 days before exam, however, last year, it was released 86 days before the exam-scheduled date.

CBSE Class 10th Exam 2026: Guidelines for the students

On the day of the examination, students must adhere to the following guidelines and instructions mentioned on the CBSE 10th admit card 2026:

• Students must reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination
• Students will not be permitted to carry any electronic devices like calculators, smartphones, smartwatches etc inside the examination centre
• Only the students who will be wearing their proper school uniform and carrying their school ID and CBSE 10th admit card, will be allowed to enter the examination centre
• The question papers will be distributed to the students at 10:00 am and they will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper; at 10:15 am students can start writing their exam
• Students must maintain discipline at the examination centre
• Students should not resort to any unfair means or practices while writing the exam or else their exam will be cancelled by the invigilator
