Admission decisions will be determined by the ranking achieved in the VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination), a Computer Based Test (CBT). Here are the additional admission specifics:

• Candidates aspiring for the M.Tech. programs at VIT should possess a full-time degree from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
• Those awaiting their final degree or semester examination results in the current year can also apply.
• However, they must have their final semester/year examination results available before participating in the selection counseling at VIT.

VIT Vellore M.Tech Admission 2025: Admission Procedure

• For admission consideration at VIT Vellore, candidates are required to remit a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1200/- and subsequently register for the VITMEE examination.
• The examination will be conducted at specified test centers.
• Candidates selected for further rounds will either find their names listed on the VIT website or receive notifications on their registered mobile numbers.
• These shortlisted individuals will then be invited to an online counseling session, during which they'll indicate their preferred campus and program.
• Upon selection, a candidate needs to submit an initial payment of Rs. 1 lakh.
• Failure to submit this amount by the specified deadline will result in the candidate's admission offer being revoked.

• Candidates' selection for admission will be determined by their cumulative scores from their undergraduate programs up to the penultimate year or semester, encompassing all subjects, including languages and EOP.
• Selected candidates will be invited for the admission process, and seat allocation will be prioritized based on their ranking derived from undergraduate scores.
• However, meeting the shortlist criteria does not automatically ensure admission, as final acceptance is contingent upon set cut-off scores and seat availability.
