VIT Admission 2024 Updates: VIT Chennai (off campus) has started the application process for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form till May 15, 2024. Meanwhile, candidates can register for VITEEE exam 2024 till March 30, 2024.

• Upon timely payment of the tuition fee, VIT will confirm the applicant's eligibility.
• Upon arrival or request by the Admissions Office, candidates must provide the necessary documents.
• Any provisional admissions granted during counseling are contingent upon the applicant meeting all eligibility criteria.
• Should there be any disputes regarding eligibility, VIT's decision will be conclusive.

VIT Vellore M.Tech Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Below are the details regarding eligibility criteria and the admission procedure:

• Candidates aspiring for the M.Tech. programs at VIT should possess a full-time degree from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
• Those awaiting their final degree or semester examination results in the current year can also apply.
• However, they must have their final semester/year examination results available before participating in the selection counseling at VIT.

VIT Vellore M.Tech Admission 2024: Admission Procedure

• For admission consideration at VIT Vellore, candidates are required to remit a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1200/- and subsequently register for the VITMEE examination.
• The examination will be conducted at specified test centers.
• Candidates selected for further rounds will either find their names listed on the VIT website or receive notifications on their registered mobile numbers.
• These shortlisted individuals will then be invited to an online counseling session, during which they'll indicate their preferred campus and program.
• Upon selection, a candidate needs to submit an initial payment of Rs. 1 lakh.
• Failure to submit this amount by the specified deadline will result in the candidate's admission offer being revoked.

VIT Vellore M.Sc Admission 2024

• Candidates' selection for admission will be determined by their cumulative scores from their undergraduate programs up to the penultimate year or semester, encompassing all subjects, including languages and EOP.
• Selected candidates will be invited for the admission process, and seat allocation will be prioritized based on their ranking derived from undergraduate scores.
• However, meeting the shortlist criteria does not automatically ensure admission, as final acceptance is contingent upon set cut-off scores and seat availability.
• The list of selected candidates will be made available on the institution's official website.

VIT Vellore Ph.D Admission 2024

• Candidates should have successfully finished a 10+2+5 pattern in the pertinent field from an accredited institution.
• Those aspiring for a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology should hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, M.Sc. (IT), or MCA.
• Candidates must pursue both their undergraduate and postgraduate studies in a regular, full-time capacity.
• The admission procedure will evaluate candidates based on their VITREE performance, scores from their postgraduate studies, the quality of their research proposal, and a personal interview.
• The VITREE is a computer-administered exam comprising 100 MCQs: 70 related to technical topics, 15 focusing on English communication, and 15 centered on statistics and probability.
• Those who qualify will be summoned for a subsequent personal interview.
