NIIT University was established in 2009 as a multidisciplinary institution for higher education in India. The core principles of the University is providing an interlinked, technology based, research driven and seamless education. The NIIT University is a privately held, Not for Profit Organization having a 100 acre campus in the lap of Aravali Hills in Neemrana, Alwar, Rajasthan. The University has been approved by the Government of Rajasthan and UGC. NU has been awarded ‘University of the Year (North)’ award at 10th Indian Education Award 2020. The University has also won ‘Best Institute for Promoting Industry-Academia Interface’ Award at ASSOCHAM Higher Education Summit 2017. 

The NIIT University offers 7 UG Programmes, 14 PG Programmes and 8 PhD Programmes. The programmes at NU range from bachelors to doctoral levels in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Biotechnology, Geographical Information System, Education Technology and Management Sciences. The NIIT University programmes include industry relevant research projects, research papers, interactions with industry professionals, hackathons and much more. NU has a unique admission process called ‘Admission Interaction Process’ or AIP for admissions to BTech, MBA and BBA programmes.

The placements at NIIT is unique as the placement process starts in the first year of the course with well designed workshops. NIIT University Courses and Fees

NIIT University has a variety of Undergraduate and Integrated Programmes, Postgraduate Programmes, Doctoral Programmes and Industry Linked Programmes.

There are 7 UG courses, 14 PG courses and 8 Doctoral level courses.

NIIT University Admission 2025

The admission procedure at NIIT University is unique as it has a separate Admission Interaction Process or AIP to help applicants to choose a specialised stream of study. The AIP is for applicants who want to apply for admission to BTech, BBA and iMBA.

NIIT University early admissions 2025 for various B.Tech, BBA and Integrated MBA programs have commenced. Aspiring candidates willing to take admissions can secure their seats. Candidates can apply through the official website of NIIT University; admissions.niituniversity.in 

Candidates having valid scores or ranks from JEE-Main, BITSAT, SAT, CUET, NEET, IPMAT, or any state Engineering Entrance Examination are required. For applicants who do not possess any of these scores, taking the NUAT will be mandatory.

Procedure for Admission in UG and Integrated Courses

NIIT University has six BTech programmes and one BBA programme at the undergraduate level. The university also offers two integrated programmes, a four-year Integrated MBA and an integrated MSc. While applying for these programmes, candidates have to follow the procedure mentioned below.

• Apply on the official website of the NIIT University, niituniversity.in.
• Submit the application form online after the completion of registration.
• Next, Applicants need to appear for NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT).
• Selected Students have to appear for Student Personal Interaction (SPI) with NU-AIP Panel.
• Next, Parents of the applicants meeting with the Panel is held. It is optional in many cases.

Note: Candidates who have appeared in JEE-Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ CUET/ NEET/ IPMAT/ any state Engineering entrance examination need not appear for NUAT. They will be evaluated on the basis of their scores in the engineering exam that they have appeared in.

NIIT University Placement 2024 

NIIT University has an impressive record of 100 percent placements. The University offers career development help to the students from the first year itself. Several workshops are organised to aid students in skill building and personality development. NU has set up a well organised Career Development Council to help the students to find suitable opportunities and recognise their strengths.

NIIT University has around 700 active industry partners including some big players like Amazon, ICICI Bank, Dell, HCL, Cognizant, Infosys and many more. The highest CTC for the Class of 2023 was INR 29.64 LPA while the average CTC of top 25% placed students was INR 12.9 LPA. In 2023, 94 percent of the students got the aspired role and 35 percent were the repeat employers.

NU also has a healthy ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurship. The innovative students of the University are helped by the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) to execute and convert their ideas into reality. The students of the University have incubated around 57 startups so far. 17 of these startups were born inside the campus. 

NIIT University: Scholarships

NIIT University has a provision to provide financial support to its students. The University believes in awarding scholarships to the students having academic excellence or exceptional talent in other co-curricular activities. NU has four categories of scholarships. They are listed below.

• Scholarship for Co-curricular Excellence
• Special Fee Waiver

The first category, NU Scholar Search Programme is merit based. There are different slabs of scholarships for students who have scored well in their 12th Board Results or national or state level entrance exams. The Special Scholarship is for the National Rank holders in these exams. They are awarded 100 percent of the tuition fee as a scholarship. The Co-curricular Scholarship and the Special Fee Waiver has several categories under which students are awarded scholarships.
