XAT Answer Key 2026 - XLRI Jamshedpur released the answer key for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 on January 9, 2026 in online mode. The XAT 2026 answer key is now available on the official website, xatonline.in. Candidates who appeared for the XAT 2026 exam can download their respective answer key using their login credentials. To access the XAT answer key, students must have a valid XAT ID and password as login details.

The institute has also opened the objection window for candidates who wish to raise a challenge against the XAT answer key. To successfully raise a challenge, students have to fill out the objection form, pay the challenge fee (per question), and give valid proof of an incorrect answer.

XAT Answer Key 2026: Steps to Challenge

In the past, objections to the XAT answer key were submitted via email. However, in the previous year, the process transitioned from email submissions to a login and upload system. To contest the official XAT answer key, candidates need to adhere to the following steps:

• Visit the XAT online website.
• Navigate to the 'Candidate response/raise objection' tab
• Submit your XAT ID and password.
• Access the objection form, and input the question ID, nature of the question, and the objection itself.
• Upload supporting documents substantiating your claim.

XAT Answer Key 2026: Calculation of Marks

To calculate marks through the XAT answer key, students must know the marking scheme. Candidates can check the instructions below to calculate their marks using the answer key of the XAT exam 2026:

• For each correct answer, give 1 mark
• For each incorrect answer, deduct 0.25 marks
• For 8 consecutive unattempted questions, deduct 0.10 marks
• No negative marking in the General Knowledge section.

Using the above instructions, candidates will be able to calculate their scores by adding positive marks and subtracting negative marks.

XAT Final Answer Key and Result 2026

XAT Result 2026 will be released on January 31, 2026 (tentative). The result will be released in the form of a scorecard containing the total score obtained by the candidate and the XAT percentile. Based on this percentile score, students will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview by participating colleges.
