Audit Inspector in the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Administration Department (Audit Wing)

Any degree would suffice for the eligibility criteria

Professing the Hindu religion alone is sufficient to become eligible

Assistant Inspector in Local Fund Audit Department

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Assistant Inspector of Labor (AIL)

Any degree of science, arts or commerce stream or any other discipline

M.A (Social Work)

Assistant Section Officer Cum Programmer (ASO)

Candidate must have MCA or Master’s degree Information Technology or Computer Science

Probation Officer in the Prison Department

Candidates must have a degree of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.O.L., B.B.A, etc

M.A., Degree in Criminology or Sociology or a degree in Psychology is preferred by candidates

Revenue Assistant 

Bachelors in any stream

Senior Inspector-Co- operative Societies in the Registrar of Co-operative Societies Department

• A Diploma in Rural Services provided by the National Council of Rural Higher Education (NCRHE)
• A Diploma of Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)

• M.A. with Degree in Co-operation
• M.Com. in Co-operation as one of the subject; or
• B.A. with Degree in cooperation; or
• Higher Diploma in Co-operative Management

Special Assistant in the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti corruption Department and Special Branch Assistant in the Intelligence Wing of the Police Department

Qualified the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting both by Senior Grade/Higher in English & Tamil

Deputy Commercial Tax Officer (DCTO)

Candidates having the following Bachelor’s Degree – BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Lit, etc are eligible.

Degree in Commerce and Law together with a Diploma in Taxation Law is the preferred education qualification

Handloom Inspector in Handlooms and Textiles Department

B.A, B.Sc, or B.Com 

A diploma in Handloom Technology / Textile Technology/ Textile processing is the preferred qualification for the post.

Junior Employment Officer (Non-DA) (Employment Wing) and Junior Employment Officer (DA) (Employment Wing)

Candidates having a degree in Science, Commerce or Arts or B.O.L, BBA are eligible

Junior Superintendent/Supervisor in the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Marketing Department

Persons with Benchmark Disability

Candidates who have more than 40% impairment are permitted an age relaxation of up to 10 years over the maximum age restriction.

Ex-Servicemen

The maximum age for veterans/ex-servicemen is 48 years.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, and Destitute Widows.

Candidates from the SC/ST, Most Backward Classes/Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, and Destitute Widows categories may apply till the age limit of 35 years.
