TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the TNPSC Group 2 prelims 2025 result on December 22, 2025 on its official website. Candidates who have qualified in the TNPSC Group 2 prelims round will move to the next stage of the examination which is the Main. TNPSC has released the Main examination 2025 dates, the TNPSC Group 2 Main 2025 examination will be held on two seprate dates, the Paper I (Tamil Eligibility Test) is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026 and Paper II (General Studies) will be conducted on February 22, 2026. Those candidates who have been qualified for the Main examination have to pay the examination fee of INR 150 from December 23 to 29, 2025.
TNPSC conducts the TNPSC Group 2 examination every year for recruiting candidates for various Group 2 posts. The TNPSC Group 2 exam, also known as the Combined Civil Service Examination II, is conducted by TNPSC for posts like Assistant Inspector of Labour, Sub Registrar, Grade II, Municipal Commissioner, Grade II, Assistant Section Officer in different departments, Handloom Inspector, Revenue Assistant, and many others. TNPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2025 was out on the offcial website on October 7, 2025. Candidates can challenge the key from the official portal till October 14, 2025 5:45 PM at tnpsc.gov.in.
According to the TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern, the examination is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains. The preliminary stage is the qualifying stage in which candidates need to clear the minimum cut-off score. The TNPSC cut-off is the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to qualify for the next stage of the selection process.

TNPSC Group 2 Cutoff 2025
