The RRB NTPC Result 2023 (2019 cycle) has been announced on the official regional websites of RRB. The result is released in a form of a PDF containing the names and roll number of selected candidates for different posts. Selected candidates will be called the document verification following which the joining letter will be granted to candidates

RRB NTPC Exam 2023: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRB NTPC, also known as, the Non-Technical Popular Category exam to recruit candidates for various positions in Indian Railways. These posts are divided into undergraduate and graduate posts, depending on the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill out the RRB NTPC application form.

Aspirants who are preparing for the exam must know the exam pattern & syllabus. The RRB NTPC exam pattern is released along with the official notification. The exam pattern for undergraduate and graduate posts is same. 

The RRB NTPC selection process consists of 4 stages: CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, and Typing Test. The CBAT exam is only for those candidates who have applied for the Traffic Assistant and Station Master post. Also, a typing test will be conducted for only the posts of typists such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Account Clerk cum Typist, and others.

NTPC’s undergraduate and graduate posts in various Zonal Railways and production units of Indian Railways are to be filled through this recruitment process.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2023

The RRB NTPC eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by candidates in order to appear for the examination. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility requirements will be disqualified from the exam selection process at any stage. Below is the detailed eligibility criteria for the RRB NTPC exam:

Education Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum percentage of marks to apply for undergraduate posts.
  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum percentage of marks to apply for graduate posts.
  • Candidates are also required to have a preferred qualification degree to apply for some of the graduate posts. 

Age Limit

  • To apply for undergraduate posts, candidates must be between the age group of 18-30 years. Candidates from OBC & SC/ST category receive the 3 years and 5 years of age relaxation.
  • To apply for graduate posts, candidates must be between the age group of 18-33 years. Candidates from OBC & SC/ST category receive the age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years, respectively.

Nationality

Candidates applying for the RRB NTPC exam must be:

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal and Bhutan
  • A Refugee from Tibet who came to India before January 01, 1962 to permanently reside in India
  • An Indian-origin person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.

RRB NTPC Application Form 2023

Aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website. The application forms are released online and can be filled in online mode only. After successfully completing the form, candidates are required to pay the application fee. The RRB NTPC application fee for General Category is Rs 500, while for others the fee is Rs 250. Incomplete applications will be rejected, so candidates must carefully fill out the application form. Interested applicants can check the documents required to register for the examination:

RRB NTPC Admit Card 2023

The RRB NTPC admit card is released after the successful completion of the registration process. Generally, the admit card is released 10-15 days before the scheduled exam date. Only candidates who fill out the application form correctly will receive the admit card.

RRB NTPC CBAT Exam Pattern 2023

  • The Computer Based Aptitude Test is required of those who desire to apply for the post of Station Master & Traffic Assistant (CBAT).
  • Only candidates who successfully pass the stage 2 can take the CBAT exam.
  • Candidates need a minimum T-score of 42 marks to pass this exam.
  • There is no negative marking in the RRB NTPC CBAT exam.
  • There will be two options for paper languages: Hindi and English.
  • 30% of the CBAT results and 70% of the Stage 2 results will be used to generate the final merit list.

RRB NTPC Answer Key 2023

The Railway Recruitment Board releases the answer key for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam on its official website. The answer key is released a few days after the conclusion of the exam. The released answer key is provisional in nature to which candidates can raise objections if they are not satisfied with the answers given in the answer key. The RRB NTPC final answer key is released along with the result. 

The provisional answer key is released along with the response sheet which highlights the correct answer of the question and answer marked by the candidate.

RRB NTPC Tie-Breaking Policy

The board also follows a tie-breaking policy in case two or more candidates score the same number of marks. There are two ways to break the tie:

    • Using age criteria: Candidates with more age are given preference by the board
  • Candidate Name’s Alphabetical Order

RRB NTPC Qualifying Marks

RRB NTPC Cutoff 2023

The Railway Recruitment Board releases the RRB NTPC cutoff on its official website along with the result. The cutoff is released for every region. Candidates must check their respective category’s cutoff. Only candidates who clear the cutoff are included in the merit list and are eligible to appear for the next stage of the selection process.

RRB NTPC Salary 2023

The starting compensation for individuals recruited for undergraduate positions is Rs 19,900, according to the 7th Pay Commission. It even costs Rs 21, 700 for some jobs. In accordance with 7th pay commission, the beginning compensation range for candidates selected for graduate positions is between Rs 25,500 and Rs 35,400. Applicants who are selected are also eligible for travel, dearness, and house rent allowances. In addition to that, they also get medical reimbursements.
