According to the 7th pay commission, the starting salary for candidates who are recruited for undergraduate posts is Rs 19,900. For some posts, it is even Rs 21, 700. Similarly, the starting range of salary for candidates who are recruited for graduate posts is Rs 25,500 - Rs 35,400. Junior Clerk cum Typist

The Junior Clerk cum Typist is responsible for assisting senior clerks. They have to be proficient in the language and have an excellent typing speed. Their work profile also involves Data entry.

Accounts Clerk cum Typist

They work under Junior Accounts Assistant. They Works in the Department of Finance and Accounts. Their duty is to maintain an internal check of transactions involving receipts and expenditure. They are also responsible for data entry and other associated works of the department.

Junior Time Keeper

Junior Time Keeper is responsible for working in sync with the railway time network. They are expected to keep the record of the timing of the trains. 

Trains Clerk

Trains Clerk are responsible for checking the number of wagons in each train in the Railway Yard. They are expected to prepare a Vehicle Guidance Document (VGD).
