OPSC Application Form 2024:  The OPSC application form was released by the Odisha Public Service Commission on the official website on January 17, and the deadline for the application form was February 16, 2024. A total of 683 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Meanwhile, the OPSC PGT recruitment application form is currently available at the official website. Candidates can apply for the same till March 18, 2024. This PGT recruitment drive aims to fill 1,375 PGT vacancies.

Candidates who were interested in applying for any of the posts offered by the authorities were given the opportunity to fill out the application form in the month of January. Candidates who will successfully fill out the application form will then be eligible to get the admit card for the OPSC examination

Moreover, OPSC registration for VAS/AVAS posts has also concluded on February 26, 2024. This recruitment drive plans to fill 539 posts for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon or Additional Veterniary Assistant Surgeon at OPSC. Candidates can check the official notification on the website. 

OPSC admit card is an essential document that every candidate must have while entering the examination hall. The exam conducting body is set to conduct the written exam for the Insurance Medical Officer. The commission has not announced the exam dates yet. Candidates are required to keep checking the official website for new notifications. 

The OPSC application process has several steps which include filling out the application form, uploading a picture and signature and submitting the application Fee. OPSC Application Form 2024 

The OPSC, also known as Odisha Public Service Commission, is a recruitment body which conducts the examination for recruiting eligible candidates for Group A and B posts under different departments functioning under the Government of Odisha. The exam is conducted in three stages - prelims and main followed by an interview or also known as a personality interview.

Candidates have to fill out the application form for the OPSC prelims stage. Further, those who will qualify for the prelim exam will be eligible to sit in the main exam. Lastly, candidates who will clear both prelim and main will be eligible to sit for the interview round. Aspirants must know that the application Fee for candidates belonging to different categories are different.  

Steps to Fill OPSC Application Form 

The OPSC application form is available on the official website for all the candidates who are willing to give the recruitment exams. Further, aspirants can follow the given steps to apply for the examination.

Step 1: Candidates need to go the official website of OPSC

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find the link 'registration link' -- click on that

Step 3: Candidates have to click on the 'apply online' button 

Step 4: Aspirants will be able to see the advertised post on their screen 

Step 5: If a candidate is applying for the first time and doesn't have their  PPSAN (Permanent Public Service Account Number)  along with the user ID, then, in that case, candidates have to look for ‘new user’ and click there

Step 6: On the other hand, if the candidate has also done his or her registration and wishes to re-register, then aspirants have to click on the 'registered user button'

Step 7: Now, the candidate will be directed to the registration form or the registration page respectively 

How to Register for First Time or Re-Register?

Step 1: Candidates have to visit opsc.gov.in

Step 2: If a candidate is registering for the first time or re-registering then he or she on the top-right of the homepage will find the link to click on the 'apply online' button which will be presented. 

Step 3:  Once clicked on the 'apply online', a new page will open which will display different posts. 

Step 4: If the candidate is applying for the post first time, then he or she has to register as a new user

If the candidate has already registered, then, in that case, the candidate has to click on 'registered user' 

Step 5: Candidates will now be able to see the instruction for filling up the application 

Step 6: A new page will open for those candidates who have already registered themselves where they have to enter their username and password 

Step 7: On the other hand, candidates who are registering for the first time have to fill in the details for the first time 

Step 8: Now, candidates have to upload the documents as asked 

Step 9: Once the form has been filled, then the candidates have to check the detail and this can be done in 'preview registration' 

Step 10: This preview registration will help the candidate edit the form if they find any error 

Step 11: Now, click on submit 

Step 12: Once the registration process is completed, candidates can log in on the homepage of OPSC

Important Information Candidates Should Consider Before Filling The Application Form 

  • When registering or re-registering online, the applicant must have a valid email address and phone number 
  • The applicant has to have their HSC certificate in order to submit their HSC information.
  • The applicant must have their Aadhaar card in order to submit their Aadhaar card number.
  • The applicants should have their mark sheet before filling out the academic qualifications.
  • A candidate should  have a JPG-formatted scanned copy of a coloured photograph with a size between 20KB and 100KB s
  • The candidate should have a clear photo of the left thumb impression, full specimen signature and coloured photo with themselves and if the candidate doesn't have the documents with a clear picture, then his or her registration/ re-registration will get rejected. 
  • Candidates should submit their verified and valid mobile number and email ID till the registration process comes to an end. 
  • The certificate of the SC/ST/SEBC category should be kept handy by the applicants who wish to claim registration under the SC/ST/SEBC category.
  • Candidates can select debit, credit card, or net banking as their online payment method in order to submit the Fee 
  • Apart from candidates belonging to  SC/ST category and aspirants with Disability, all applicants must pay the examination fee as mentioned.

Once the application process has been completed, candidates with successful submissions will be able to get their admit cards. Needless to say, an admit card is an essential document which a candidate should carry with them while appearing for the examination.
