Indian Army Agniveer Eligibility 2023: The Indian Army releases the Agniveer eligibility criteria on its official website. Aspirants preparing for the Agniveer recruitment exam must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the Indian Army. The eligibility criteria must be fulfilled with respect to education qualification, age limit, and physical standard test.

Candidates will be enrolled in the Indian Army for a duration of four years under the Agnipath Scheme. All Agniveers will be discharged after four years of Indian Armed Services. Under the Agnipath scheme, Indian Army offers different types of Agniveer posts. These are Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Tech), Agniveer (Avn & Amn Examiner), Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms), Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms)10th pass & 8th pass. The age limit to apply for all Agniveer posts is 17.5-21 years. However, the upper age limit has been relaxed to 23 years for the Recruitment year 2022-23.

Aspiring students must also fulfil the educational requirements to apply for different Agniveer posts. For Agniveer (General Duty), the candidate must have passed Class 10 and for Agniveer (Tech), candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and English.

Agniveer Eligibility Criteria 2023

The eligibility criteria for Agniveer at Indian Army requires a candidate to fulfil the age limit, educational qualification, and physical standard test. Candidates must fulfil each eligibility requirement as stated in the official Indian Army Agniveer Notification PDF. 

Indian Army Agniveer Education Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10 with 45% marks (aggregate) and 33% individually in each subject.

In a board which follows grading system, students must have passed Class 10 with minimum D grade (aggregate) and C2 grade individually in each subject.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Candidates passing 10+2 from recognized state education board or Central Education Board including NIOS and ITI course of 1 year (minimum) with NDQF level 4 or above.

Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical

(All Arms)

Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream with overall 60% marks and minimum 50% in each subject. Scoring 50% in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping is mandatory.

Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms)10th
