BPSC Exam 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission conducts the BPSC examination for several posts in the state of Bihar. Candidates can visit the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in to register for their desired exam. To fill the BPSC application form, candidates are first required to check their eligibility. The BPSC eligibility criteria is different for various posts offered by the commission. If the candidates pass the BPSC eligibility requirements, they can apply for the examination.   • As per the official notification released by the commission, the BPSC TRE 3.0 examination has been cancelled due to a question paper leak. The new dates for BPSC TRE 3.0 exam will be announced in due course of time. 
  • The BPSC BAO (Block Agricultural Officer) provisional answer key is now available at the official website. The result for the same is expected to be out soon.

BPSC Application Form 2024

BPSC application form for various vacancies is released on the official website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates can apply for exams according to the registration dates. As per the latest updates, BPSC TRE 3.0 registration will begin from February 10, 2024. Candidates interested can apply for the same by visiting the official website.

BPSC Fees for Application Form  

Once the application form is filled, candidates have to pay the BPSC application fees. It should be noted that the application fees for candidates belonging to different categories vary.  Hence, candidates should only look to that particular fee structure from the category they belong to. After paying the application fees, the application process will be successfully completed.

NOTE: After completing the application form for either the prelims or mains exam, the applicant will be able to get their BPSC admit card for the stage for which they applied.

BPSC Syllabus 2024

The BPSC syllabus for prelims and Mains is prescribed by the BPSC itself. Candidates can check the syllabus from the official website. Candidates can check the BPSC syllabus in PDF format. Needless to say, the syllabus is critical for candidates who are taking the BPSC exam, as students will not be able to study properly for the BPSC examination unless they have a thorough understanding of the curriculum. As a result, students are advised to review the BPSC syllabus before beginning preparation for the examination. 

Further, candidates should note the BPSC syllabus is different for the Prelims and Mains stages.  While the prelims stage has two subjects in the syllabus, the mains stage of the examination has 3 subjects and one optional subject, which makes the total 4. There is no predetermined syllabus for the interview stage. Candidates must, however, reread what they learned in their graduation and be mindful of general knowledge.

The prelim examination is the first level of the BPSC examination. This step is also known as the screening stage, and if the applicant passes the prelims, he or she will be able to take the mains exam. Because prelims and mains are two distinct levels, the syllabus for each changes.

BPSC Mains Syllabus 

The mains exam is the second step. Candidates who pass the preliminary examinations will be entitled to take the main examinations. The mains syllabus includes three required topics, while the fourth subject is optional, which means applicants must choose one.

BPSC Exam Pattern 2024

The BPSC exam pattern differs for the prelims, mains, and interview. As a result, applicants should review the test pattern for each level separately.

BPSC Exam Pattern for Prelims 

  • The prelims examination comprises 150 questions from the syllabus's required disciplines. The test will be given in offline mode. 
  • Candidates should be aware that the prelims exam involves negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer and 1 mark provided for each correct answer. 
  • If the applicant marked more than one answer, the deduction will still be valid. There will be no negative or positive scores for unanswered questions.

BPSC Exam Pattern for Mains

The BPSC mains exam pattern differs from the prelims. Candidates ought to examine the exam pattern provided below: 

  • The mains, like the prelims exams, will be held offline. 
  • The main test includes three required courses and one optional subject. 
  • The BPSC 68th mains exam papers will be held individually, with a total of 1000 marks available. 
  • The mains test lasts three hours for each paper. 
  • The exam includes negative markings, and the questions will be in multiple-choice style. 

BPSC Results 

BPSC results are released by the BPSC itself on the official website Candidates must know that the results will be released for prelims and mains are released differently. Candidates who qualify the prelims examination will be eligible to participate in the mains round. 

The answer key for each exam is released by BPSC prior to the announcement of results. Answer keys are classified into two sorts. The first is the tentative answer key, while the second is the final answer key. The BPSC provisional answer key allows candidates to object, but the final answer key allows them to calculate their results. While the provisional answer key is published before the results are announced, the final answer key is released ahead of the result declaration. 

BPSC Admit Card 2024

Once the candidate has successfully filled the application form, then he or she will be eligible to get their BPSC admit card 2024. Now, this is an important point to note that the admit card for BPSC prelims and mains stage are released separately. This means candidates who will qualify for the prelims stage will get a separate admit card for mains stage.  

Candidates can check their admit card on the official website after the hall ticket is made available. In order to download the admit card, applicants must first log in to the platform. Aspirants can follow the steps mentioned below to download the hall ticket. 

Step 1: Candidates must go to the BPSC's official website. 

Step 2: Candidates must locate the login gateway on the homepage. 

Step 3: Once discovered, candidates must log in using the username and password they were provided when they registered for the application.

Step 4: After logging in, a new window will open with the hall tickets. 

Step 5: Candidates are recommended to carefully examine their hall ticket.

Step 6: After they have been checked, applicants can download their hall ticket.

BPSC Result 2024: Steps to Download

Candidates can take a look at the following steps through which they can download the BPSC results : 

Step 1: Candidates must visit the BPSC's official website. 

Step 2: On the homepage of the official website, applicants will see a section titled "Latest Updates"; click on that. 

Step 3: A new page will appear, with several links, one of which will be the result link for the position for which the candidate has applied -- choose that

Step 4: In order to login, applicants must now provide their roll number and date of birth. 

Step 5: After logging in, a new PDF will appear that contains all of the roll numbers of the applicants that passed the examination.

Step 6: Candidates can find their roll number by typing CTRL+F and adding their roll number in the find section 

Step 7: Once the candidate has checked the results, then they can download the document.
