BPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024: The eligibility requirements for candidates are mentioned in the BPSC official notification. The upper age limit for general male candidates is 37 years, for general female candidates and OBC candidates it is 40 years, and for SC and ST candidates it is 42 years.

During the document verification procedure, candidates must present the necessary papers. Candidates who are unable to provide these papers will be eliminated from consideration for employment. The BPSC preliminary test, main exam, and interview results are used for selecting applicants.

BPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024: Nationality

• For eligibility for the BPSC posts, candidates must be Indian nationals. Candidates should have the documents required to prove their citizenship.
• Also, those candidates who are permanent residents of the country are eligible to appear for the examination. However, they must fill in the relevant government-issued documents given that they provide permanent residency.

Candidates should note that they can attempt the examination as many times as they want. Further, the number of tries is only allowed three times for government workers who have worked three years consistently.
