The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) is a public technical institute located in West Bengal, India. The institute was established in 1960. NIT Durgapur Ph.D. Admission 2024

NIT Durgapur offers doctoral degrees in full-time mode. Candidates require a master’s degree with 60% (GEN/EWS/OBC) and 55% marks (SC/ST/PwD).  Shortlisted candidates' admission is usually based on the institute’s entrance tests followed by a personal interview. However, candidates who have qualified for GATE/UGC-NET/DST/CSIR-NET are exempted from the entrance test, but they need to appear for the interview.
