LPU Admission 2024: LPU offers an extensively wide array of courses in multiple disciplines. From basic entry-level UG and PG courses to diploma and certificate programs and PhD level courses are all offered at LPU.

University conducts its university-level entrance exam i.e., LPUNEST (LPU Common Entrance Test) for every course whether UG, PG, or PhD level. However, for a few professional courses like BTech and MBA, scores of many national-level exams are also considered and preferred.

As per the latest notification, LPU also considers the ranks of CUET exams for admission and scholarship purposes.

Interested candidates willing to take admissions at LPU must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria in different domains. For admission to UG courses, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 pattern with relevant disciplines are required while for PG admissions, the candidate must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with relevant subjects. However, the final selection will be based on the scores of required entrance exams.

Some of the LPU courses are B.Sc, BBA, BA, B.Com, M.Sc, M.A, ME, MCA. While B.E/B. Tech, ME, MBA, and B.Sc are some of the flagship courses.

LPUNEST exams are conducted between Jan 20, 2024, to Feb 5, 2024. The last date to apply and book a slot for LPUNEST is 15th February 2024 as per schedule II available on the official website.

For admission to BA
Interested candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with a minimum 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent.

For admission to B.Sc

Interested candidates must have completed their Class 12 in with PCB/M (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) subjects.

Mentioned below are the common academic eligibility criteria for admission to various PG courses prior to university level entrance exams in multiple disciplines.

For admission to MA

Interested candidates should have completed their 3 year BA program from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the relevant subjects.

Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of must subjects.

For admission to M.Sc

Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized college/university with a minimum 50 – 60% marks. Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of must studied subjects.

For admission to M.Com

Interested candidates must have passed with 50% marks in aggregate in B.Com, BBA (any stream) or BA Economics from a recognized university.

For Admission to LLM

Interested candidates must hold either a 3-year LLB degree or a BA LLB /BSc LLB /BBA LLB degree of 5 years with 50-60% aggregate scores.

For admission to MPharma

Interested candidates should hold a degree in (B. Pharm) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Admission to the mentioned Postgraduate programs are done based on the university-level entrance exam i.e. LPUNEST for major courses along with considering the scores of relevant national- entrance exams like CUET, NIFT, CLAT, CAT/MAT/XAT, JEE Main, GATE, GPAT, and others as per course chosen.

LPU BTech Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria - Candidates willing must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The subjects include Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional.

Selection Criteria - Scores of university level exam - LPUNEST and candidates with rank of JEE Main will get preference.

LPU MBA Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria - Interested students must have a graduate degree in any discipline, with at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.

Criteria can vary as per the specialization in terms of compulsory subjects.

Selection Criteria - Scores of university level exam - CUCET and scores of CAT/MAT/XAT will be considered as well.

LPU LLB Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria - Interested students must have completed their 12th with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Selection Criteria - Interested candidates have to appear for LPUNEST, in addition to that scores of CLAT will also be considered.

LPU PhD Admission 2024

Eligibility Criteria - Interested students must have done their masters from any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grades.

For different specializations, students must have studied the relevant subjects in their post-graduation.

Selection Criteria - Final selection includes -

Appearing for a university-level entrance exam i.e, LPUNEST

Appearing for an Interview Round after qualifying for the scores criteria in LPUNEST

The candidates need not take entrance exams if they have qualified UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GPAT/ SLET with required scores.
