CUET PG Answer Key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduation (CUET PG) on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. Candidates can raise objections against the CUET PG answer key within the stipulated time. NTA releases the provisional answer key along with the individual response sheets of the candidates. After carefully considering the objections, the NTA releases the CUET PG final answer key.

The NTA will display the CUET PG Provisional Answer Keys of the questions on the NTA website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/, to provide an opportunity for the candidates to challenge the provisional answer keys. There will be a non-refundable fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional answer keys for the CUET PG 2026 exam are likely to be displayed for two to three days. Only challenges made during the stipulated time, after successful payment, through the ‘key challenge link’ will be considered.

The answer key for CUET PG 2026 includes the correct responses to the questions asked in the exam. Candidates who took the CUET PG exam 2026 can download the subject-wise CUET answer key through the official website. The answer key released by NTA is provisional in nature. Students can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question. The final answer key is released after NTA releases all the challenges. It is released along with the CUET PG Result 2026. Students must note that there is no provision for raising challenges against the final answer key.

How to calculate CUET PG scores using the response sheet?

The NTA publishes the CUET PG response sheet, which is vital for score calculation. Candidates need to compare their responses in the response sheet with the answers given in the official answer key. For each matched response, +4 marks are allotted as a reward for a correct answer. Conversely, if the response does not match the answer in the key, a negative marking of 1 mark is applied. To obtain the final CUET PG score, candidates should add 4 marks for every correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

CUET PG Result 2026

Following the release of the final answer key, the NTA publishes the CUET PG result, presented in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard includes essential details such as the candidate's name, category, marks obtained, normalised NTA score, and qualifying status. Candidates who successfully qualify for the CUET PG exam find their names listed in the merit list. Aspirants whose names appear in the merit list are subsequently invited for the CUET PG counselling conducted by participating institutions.
