CUET UG Application Form 2024: Registration, Start and Last date, Fees, & Documents Required

CUET Application Form 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the CUET UG 2024 registration on February 27, 2024. Candidates fulfilling the CUET eligibility criteria can fill out the application form by entering the necessary details in the registration form through the official website - exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

As per the latest updates, the CUET UG registration window has been extended till April 5, 2024. Earlier, the last date to fill out the CUET UG application form was March 26, 2024. Those candidates who are yet to apply can submit their applications by March 31, 2024, till 9.50 PM. 

While filling out the CUET application form, candidates must fill out their personal and educational details. They also must upload scanned copies of required documents such as passing certificate, passport-size photograph, signature, and valid photo identity card. It must be noted that if candidates fill out any wrong information, their candidature will be rejected.

CUET Application Form 2024: Reservation Policy

Candidates belonging to certain categories can fill out the CUET UG application form 2024 to get admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India. However, students must note that in case of Central Universities, the reservation policy of the respective university will be applicable.

For GEN-EWS Category

Candidates must have a GEN-EWS Certificate if they belong to this category. While filling out the CUET application form 2024, the certificate must be uploaded by candidates. Also, the certificate must be issued on or after April 1, 2023.

For OBC-NCL Category

Candidates must have an OBC-NCL Certificate if they belong to this category. The certificate must be issued on or after April 1, 2023. It is mandatory to upload a scanned copy of the OBC-NCL certificate while filling out the CUET application form 2024.

For SC/ST Category

Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Certificate issued to candidates belonging to this category must be uploaded to successfully complete the CUET application form 2024.

How to Fill out the CUET 2024 Application Form?

Eligible candidates who are preparing for the CUET 2024 exam must know the steps to fill out the application form. Interested candidates can check the detailed steps to register for the exam:

Registration

Registration on the official website is the first step in completing the application form. To register, candidates must go to the CUET's official website. They might see a tab marked "New Registration" on the home page. Click on it and enter the following information below:

• Name of the Candidate
• Name of Father
• Name of Mother
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Permanent Address
• Email Address
• Mobile Number

After filling out the aforementioned information, applicants must create a password. It should be remembered that the password needs to be at least 8 characters long. After choosing a password, candidates must choose a security question. In the event that they forget their password, this will enable them to recover it. Candidate registration for the exam will be successful following the OTP verification process.

CUET Application Form 2024: Choice of Cities

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide the list of cities where CUET 2024 exam will be conducted. Candidates must check the list of cities and choose it accordingly while filling out the CUET application form 2024. Applicants can select a maximum of up to two cities of their choice. NTA will make sure that students are allotted the cities based on their preference only. However, different cities can be allotted due to administrative or logistical reasons. Also, it must be noted that the choice of centre cities will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or State of Present Address only.

CUET Application Form 2024: Correction Window

After the CUET registration procedure is complete, NTA also offers candidates the chance to edit their application form. However, certain data cannot be edited, meaning it cannot be changed. The table below mentions the details which can be edited and which cannot be edited.
