CUET Answer Key 2024 (Out): Date, PDF Download Link, Steps, Raise Objections

CUET Answer Key 2024 - The National Testing Agency has released the answer key for the CUET 2024 exam on its official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG on July 7, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can download the CUET UG answer key using their login credentials. Once the provisional key is out, students will be able to raise objections against it within the given timeframe. The last date to raise challenge against the answer key is July 9, 2024.

NTA has also released the individual response sheets for candidates. The response sheets will display the responses marked by the candidates during the CUET UG exam 2024. Candidates can estimate their potential scores by comparing their recorded responses to those provided in the CUET answer key. It must be noted that the challenges will be invited for both answer key and recorded responses.

NTA will release the CUET result 2024 tentatively by the third week of July 2024 on the official website. Following the release of the result, participating colleges will invite students for CUET UG counselling 2024 based on the marks and rank obtained by candidates.

CUET Answer Key 2024

The NTA releases the provisional answer key for the CUET 2024 exam a few days after the exams get over. Candidates can check the answer sheet on the official website of the National Testing Agency. The answer key and the response sheet are displayed only for two or three days.

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, he/she can challenge the key on the link provided on the official website. The window to challenge the answer key opens with the release of the answer key. This CUET answer key challenge window is open for a limited time period. Candidates who wish to challenge the answer key have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question to submit their challenges.

CUET Answer Key 2024: Response sheet

Before declaring the CUET result, NTA releases the response sheet which contains the responses recorded for each question by the candidates who appeared in the CUET exam 2024. The response sheet will be available for candidates to check only for a limited period of time.

CUET Exam 2024: Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of the CUET UG Exam is given in detail in the official information bulletin. Candidates can check the marking scheme given below:

• For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded five marks.
• For an incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
• For the unanswered or marked for review questions, no marks will be given.
• If more than one option is found to be correct then five marks will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
•  If all options are found to be correct then five marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
•  If none of the options is found correct, or a question is found to be wrong, or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks. 

CUET Answer Key 2024: Raise Objections

Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key are given a chance to challenge the key. NTA charges an Answer Key Challenge Fee for each answer challenged as only paid challenges are taken into consideration. Those who challenge the answer key also have to provide a justification or evidence supporting their answer. The CUET answer key can be challenged only through the link provided on the official website. 

How to challenge the CUET Answer Key?

Candidates can follow the procedure given below to challenge the CUET answer key.

• Go to the CUET exam page on the NTA website, exam.nta.ac.in.
• Find the link for CUET Answer Key Challenge 2024 in the latest news section.
• Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth.
• Go to the Question ID that you would like to challenge and select the correct answer.
• Upload the document supporting your answer by clicking on ‘Choose File’.
• Click on ‘Submit and Review Claims’ and your claim will be displayed.
• Make the payment of INR 200 per question.
• Submit the form and save the receipt.

CUET Final Answer Key 2024

The challenges to the CUET Answer Key will be checked by the subject experts at the NTA. The final decision regarding the answer key will be made by the NTA. No further objections will be entertained and candidates will not be notified individually about the outcome of their claims. The final answer key will be released before the declaration of the CUET result 2024. 

CUET Result 2024

NTA will be releasing the CUET UG Result 2024 on June 30, 2024. Candidates can check their result on the official website. No revaluation or rechecking of results will be entertained. The CUET 2024 score will be valid for admissions in the undergraduate programme for the academic year 2024-2025 only.
