For admission to any of the 25 courses available at IIT Mandi, candidates will need to have a national-level entrance exam score (such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM, CSIR, or UGC-NET) and subsequently go through a counseling process (JoSSA, CCMT, or CCMN).
IIT Mandi's flagship program is the B.Tech. degree. To secure admission to the B.Tech. program at IIT Mandi, candidates are required to possess a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with a minimum of 75% marks. Subsequently, seats are allotted based on their performance in the JEE Advanced examination, followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) counseling process.
