CTET Answer Key 2026 (OUT): OMR Response Sheet, Direct link, Objection Fee

CTET Answer Key 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional answer key for CTET exam online on March 12, 2026. Candidates who appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key by March 15, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). After the closure of answer key challenge window, CBSE will release the final answer key for CTET along with the result. 

The CTET answer key PDF download link is available at ctet.nic.in. The initial answer key is provisional in nature. For each objection raised, candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 1,000. CBSE will prepare the final answer key and the CTET 2026 result based on the objections received from the students on the provisional key. CTET final answer key will also be released online, along with the result, at ctet.nic.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CTET provisional answer key at ctet.nic.in. Here is how candidates will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key online: 

Step 1: Visit the official website - ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the CTET July answer key link on the home page

Step 3: Login using credentials, including registration number and captcha code

Step 4: The answer key will be displayed on your screens

Step 5: Save the answer key PDF for future reference

CTET Answer Key 2026: Steps to challenge

After downloading the answer key, if candidates believe any of the answers to be incorrect, they can raise objections against the answer key online. The link to challenge the CTET answer key will be available at ctet.nic.in. Here is how candidates can raise objections against the answer key:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET

Step 2: Click on the answer key challenge link

Step 3: Login using your CTET credentials

Step 4: The instructions to submit challenges will be displayed on your screen

Step 5: Select the question you wish to challenge from the menu

Step 6: Click on the link to enter your answer and choose the correct option

Step 7: Submit the answer

Step 8: Pay the challenge fee of INR 1,000

For each answer, candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 1,000 to challenge the CTET answer key. The amount can be paid online via debit or credit card, net banking, and UPI payment option. 

CTET Final Answer Key 2026

The final answer key for CTET exam 2026 will be released a few days after the objection window is closed. Candidates must remember that the final answer key will not be subject to change. CTET result 2026 will be prepared based on the final answer key. The CTET final answer key will be released separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
