CTET Admit Card 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET July admit card on July 5, 2024. Those candidates who will be appearing for the CTET exam 2024 can download their hall tickets from the official website - cbse.ctet.in. Candidates are required to carry their hall tickets while entering the examination venue. 

CBSE has released the CTET city intimation slip at the official website - ctet.nic.in on June 24, 2024. Candidates should know that without hall ticket, they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. 

The CTET admit card consists of important information including their name, exam time, exam venue, and others. Only those candidates will be able to get the CTET admit card who completed the CTET application form

CTET Admit Card 2024 

In order to appear for the CTET 2024 exam, candidates must have their CTET admit card. The official CTET portal consists of the admit card which candidates can download by using their date of birth and application number. Also, applicants must attentively read and adhere to the instructions provided on the CTET admit card. Candidates must reach the examination centre 2 hours before the commencement of the examination. 

CTET 2024 exam is set to take place on July 7, 2024. The CTET 2024 exam consists of two papers- paper I and paper II. While CTET Paper I is conducted for those candidates who wish to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5, CTET Paper II is conducted for those who want to teach students of classes 6 to 8. Hence, the CBSE releases different CTET admit cards for different papers.

Candidates must have a hard copy of the CTET admit card while entering the examination hall. In order to download the hall tickets, candidates have to visit the official website of the CTET. The CBSE will release two admit cards. While the first admit card will be for the CTET paper I, the second admit card will be for the CTET paper II.

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates need to look for the link that reads CTET admit card and click on it

Step 3: Now, candidates are required to enter their details including 

  • Candidate’s application number
  • Security pin
  • DOB 

Step 4: Candidates can download the CTET admit card now

Step 5: Now, candidates have to take the printout of the admit card 

NOTE: Download the document and take a printout of it for future use. Apart from the hall tickets, candidates are also advised to download the self-declaration as both documents are mandatory to carry in the examination centre.

Steps to Re-generate CTET Admit Card 2024

If a candidate forgets their application number or password while downloading their CTET admit card, they can produce new ones by following the instructions below.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the CTET official webiste 

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will see a login button 

Step 3: Now, candidates need to click on a button that reads 'forgot password' 

Step 4: Now, candidates need to add the required information 

Step 5: Click on submit 

NOTE: Once clicked on the submit button, candidates will be able to generate the application number/ password 

Items Which Are Not Allowed in Exam Hall

While entering the CTET examination hall, students are not allowed to carry certain things. The list of items that are not allowed to be taken inside the examination hall is mentioned below. 

  • An alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, a water bottle, and food
  • Mobile phones, earphones, wallets, goggles, handbags, microphones, cameras, electronic devices, watches, wristwatches, 
  • Bluetooth devices, calculator, headphones, pen drives, pager, debit/credit cards, electronic pen/scanners
  • Geometry /pencil box, plastic pouch, pencil pouch, books, notes, bits of paper, pencil, scale, log table, writing pad
