Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023 notification was released on June 8, 2023 on the official website of the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC). The recruitment notification has been released for a total of 21,391 Constable posts in the Bihar Police Department. The Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023 selection process is divided into 4 main stages: written test, physical fitness test, document verification, and medical examination. Candidates who pass the written test will be eligible to appear for the second stage, the physical fitness test. The physical fitness test is further divided into the following 3 events: running, shotput & long jump.  Candidates must clear each of these events separately to make it to the final merit list. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the physical fitness test. The marks scored in the written test will not be considered for the final merit list. Successful candidates will then have to appear for the document verification process followed by the medical examination. 

Only the candidates who clear the medical examination round will be allotted Constable posts under the Bihar Police Department. Selected candidates will then have to undergo 3 years of probation. Probationers will not receive a salary, however, they will be paid a monthly stipend. The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) will release the Bihar Police Constable Sarkari Result 2023 on its official website. The results will be published in two parts: one for the written exam and the other for the physical exam. It is important to note that the Bihar Police Constable exam is a two-stage process. Candidates who pass the first stage (written exam) can check their results on the official CSBC website. Only candidates who pass the first stage will be eligible to take the second stage (physical exam).
