APSC Admit Card 2024: Steps to Download & Exam Day Guidelines

APSC Admit Card 2024: APSC, also known as Assam Public Service Commission, is responsible for releasing the admit card for various posts. The hall tickets are available on the official website and candidates can download the hall ticket by using their roll number and date of birth. The APSC exam has three different stages including Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates are required to qualify for all three stages in order to get recruited for the post which they have applied for.

The APSC CCE prelims was held on March 18, 2024. The admit card for APSC CCE exam was released on the official website on February 27, 2024. APSC hall tickets are an essential piece of document which a candidate is required to bring with them when they enter the examination hall. The admit card is released in PDF form.

Only those candidates will get the APSC hall tickets who have successfully completed the APSC application process. The registration window for APSC was closed on February 6, 2024. 

The admit card consists of important details about the candidate including the name of the candidate, parents' name, DOB and other details. If a candidate is found without the admit card, then he or she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. 

Candidates must know that since there are three stages of the examination, the hall ticket will be released separately for each stage. The APSC admit card 2024 for various posts will be released on the official website as per the exam schedule. The hall tickets are released in PDF form and candidates can download the document by logging in to the official portal. Usually, candidates are confused with the name of the APSC call letter and admit card. However, candidates must know that the both APSC call letter and admit card are the same. 

The APSC exam is conducted for those students who want to get recruited for different posts offered by the state government. Generally, the exam conducting body releases the hall tickets a week before the commencement of the examination. Hence, candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website. Also, candidates are advised to download the hall ticket and take a printout of it for future use. 

APSC Admit Card 2024: Steps to Download

The APSC CCE admit card is released on the official website. Candidates can download the hall ticket by using their roll number and  DOB. Further, candidates can download the admit card by following the given steps. 

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of APSC 

Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find a link that reads 'Call letter/Admit card' -- click on that 

Step 3: Now a new page will open wherein the candidates need to enter their application/roll number and DOB and click on submit

Step 4: Once done, candidates will see the admit card on the screen

NOTE: Download the hall ticket and take a printout of the APSC admit card for future use. 

APSC Admit Card 2024: Details Mentioned

Since the APSC admit card is an essential document, it consists of a bunch of important details about the candidate including their name, parents' name, DOB, age and other factors. Candidates can take a look at the following details which are mentioned in the admit card. 

• Candidate's name 
• Candidate's parent's name 
• Exam date 
• Exam time and venue 
• Registration number 
• Candidate's photo 
• Age 
• Candidate's education degree

Valid ID proofs to Carry to APSC Exam Hall 

Apart from APSC admit card, candidates are required to carry inside the examination. Candidates should note that these documents should be government authorised in order to make sure that the candidate is the same person who is appearing for the exam. Candidates can take a look at the following details that are required to bring inside the examination hall. 

• Pan card
• Voters ID card 
• Any government-authorised ID 
• Bank passbook with a photo on it 
• Any educational ID card

APSC Admit Card 2024: In Case of Discrepancy

There are instances when the candidate will find any wrong information added to the APSC admit card. In such scenarios, candidates should get those errors rectified immediately by reporting to the exam conducting body. The errors in the hall ticket are known as discrepancies and candidates should immediately report them. If in case a candidate fails to report the errors, then he or she will not be allowed to sit in the exam hall with the same admit card.

There are a bunch of items which candidates are not allowed to carry inside the examination hall. • Mobile phones, Bluetooth, smart watches or any other electronic gadgets
• Wallet
• Any piece of paper which has information about the exam 
• Charts of tables related to the exam 

APSC Exam 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

The exam day is the main day for candidates. It’s the day when a candidate’s efforts are being put to the test. Hence, there are a bunch of instructions that candidates are required to follow. Aspirants can take a look at the following instructions which they are required to follow on the day of the examination. 

• Candidates should first carry the APSC admit card while entering the examination hall. Without the hall ticket, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. 
• Aspirants are advised to reach the examination hall at least an hour before the commencement of the examination 
• It is the candidate's responsibility to keep their luggage in a safe place in order to avoid any hassle
• Any electronic device including mobile phones, pager, Bluetooth, smart watches, and other such devices will not be allowed to carry inside the exam hall 
• Candidates should carry their admit card inside the exam and other original photo ID proof along with its photocopy
