NEET syllabus 2024: NEET UG syllabus 2024 will be prescribed by the National Testing Agency. The NTA is the exam conducting body for the medical exam, and it has yet to give the syllabus for the NEET exam 2024 exam. However, the NTA has released the exam dates for NEET 2024 and as per the information given by NTA, the exam was held on May 05, 2024. Aspiring medical candidates should be well-versed in the NEET syllabus to ace the exams.
Candidates must have good knowledge of these three subjects from class 10 to class 12, as questions in the exam will come from these subjects. As a result, students who are also studying for their Board exams might choose a joint preparation in the beginning. The NTA claims that the NEET syllabus and the Board exam syllabus are similar. Candidates are also required to check NEET exam pattern 2024.
The NEET syllabus for 2024 is divided into two sections -- the topics covered in Class 11 and those covered in Class 12. Since the NEET exam 2024 is yet to take place, candidates have adequate time with them to prepare for the exam. Hence, candidates are advised to be well-versed in the NEET syllabus. NTA will conduct the admission for courses including MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc nursing, etc.
NEET Syllabus 2024
Since the NEET exam 2024 is the only competitive test that provides admission to candidates in courses such as MBBS and BDS, the exam is one of the toughest entrance exams which is hard to crack. However, if a candidate is well-versed with the exam details including the NEET exam syllabus, there are chances that a candidate can score better on the paper. The NEET syllabus is divided into two parts - topics covered in Class 11 and topics covered in Class 12.
Candidates are advised to refer to the Class XI and XII NCERT books for good preparation for the NEET exam. Every year, more than 15 lakh students take the NEET UG exam, and the exam is conducted in 13 different languages.
NEET Syllabus 2024: Subject and Chapter-wise
Before appearing in the NEET entrance exam, candidates must know how many questions the exam will be asked from which topic of the particular subject. The NEET syllabus 2024 consists of three subjects: Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. However, the maximum number of questions in the exam comprises the Biology topic. Further, the Biology topic is divided into two parts - Zoology and Botany. Candidates must be aware of the syllabus of NEET as per topics.
To make a study strategy, candidates need to be aware of how many topics each subject contains. The candidate will be able to increase their confidence and avoid getting anxious at the final minute of preparation if they are aware of the topics covered in the NEET exam curriculum.
Topics from Physics subject including Optics, electrostatics, Thermodynamics, etc have high weightage. On the other hand, Biology Genetics Evolution, and Human Physiology are high weightage topics.
