GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) issues the GPAT exam eligibility criteria along with the official information bulletin on its official website - natboard.edu.in. Candidates who wish to appear for the Gratitute Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2025 should go through the eligibility criteria before registering for the the entrance exam. Those candidates who fulfil the GPAT eligibility criteria will be granted admission into M.Pharma courses.

As per the GPAT eligibility criteria, candidates must be Indian citizens and there is no age limit for appearing in the GPAT exam. They must also hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) (4 years after 10+2) or equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates appearing for the final year of B.Pharm are also eligible to apply. It must be noted that B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) degree holders are not eligible to apply for GPAT exam 2025.

GPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

Only the candidates who fulfil the following educational requirements can appear for GPAT 2025:

  • Candidates must have qualified 10 + 2 examination
  • Candidates must possess a degree in Bachelor’s of Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognised university
  • Candidates in the final year of B. Pharma can also appear for GPAT 2025
  • Candidates with a degree in B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) or equivalent courses are not eligible to apply for GPAT 2025

GPAT Exam 2025: Reservation Criteria

As mentioned in last year's official notification, the following reservation criteria will be applicable in case of the institutes that are run by the Central government:

  • Seats reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates: 15%
  • Seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates: 7.5%
  • Seats reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List: 27%
  • Seats reserved for General Economically Weaker Sections (General - EWS) candidates: 10%
  • Persons with Disability (PwD) with 40% or more disability
