NIPER Hyderabad: Admission, Fees, Courses, Ranking, Placement

Established in 2007 in accordance with the NIPER Act, NIPER Hyderabad is one of the most sought-after pharmaceutical research institutes in the country. The institute was established as one of the seven institutes under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. It is also recognized as an Institution of National Importance by GOI for its role in developing skilled manpower for the pharmaceutical industry. According to NIRF Ranking 2022, NIPER Hyderabad holds the 2nd place in the pharmacy category. 

The fee of the two-year MS program at NIPER Hyderabad is INR 1.42 lakh, whereas the cost of the MBA program is INR 3.5 lakh. All enrolled candidates, with the exception of those admitted into the M.B.A. (Pharm.) program and those sponsored by governmental or private sector organizations, will receive a stipend of Rs. 12,400 per month, providing they maintain a minimum cumulative CGPA of 6.00 in each semester. The student's stipend will be withheld until he or she achieves the required CGPA of 6.00 in the event that the grade point average is less than 6.00 but more than 5.50.

NIPER Hyderabad Courses

Through its 9 departments, NIPER Hyderabad provides students with a limited number of courses in a variety of disciplines. These programs include PhD, M.S., MBA, and M.Tech. The NIPER JEE entrance test, which is administered jointly by all NIPERs, serves as the foundation for admission to NIPER Hyderabad. The MS (Pharmaceutical) program at NIPER Hyderabad has the highest seat intake, with 110. The seat intake is 15, 9, and 41 respectively for programs like M.Tech (Pharm), M.Tech (Medical Devices), and MBA (Pharm). At NIPER Hyderabad, there are a total of 40 seats available for the PhD program, compared to only 5 for the Integrated PG-PhD programs.

• Candidates must also be having a valid score in exams GPAT/GATE/NET
• A merit list will be released by NIPER Hyderabad

NIPER Hyderabad MBA (Pharm) Admission Process

• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must fill the application form for NIPER Hyderabad
• After the registration is done, interested candidates must appear for NIPER JEE
• Candidates must also be having a valid score in exams GPAT/GATE/NET
• A merit list will be released by NIPER Hyderabad
• Shortlisted students will have to participate in a group discussion and an interview round
• Selection of candidates will be based on the overall performance in the entrance exam, national level exam, group discussion and interview
• Selected candidates will be called for document verification and the payment of fee

NIPER Hyderabad Ph.D Admission Process

• Candidates that meet the eligibility criteria must fill the application form for NIPER Hyderabad
• After the registration is done, interested candidates must appear for NIPER JEE
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round
• Selection will be done on the basis of the entrance exam plus the interview
• Selected candidates will be called for document verification and the payment of fee

NIPER Hyderabad Placements

NIPER Hyderabad training and placement is responsible for inviting reputed pharma companies to its campus to recruit meritorious students. During the NIPER Hyderabad Placement 2019, a total 97 students participated in the campus placement drive in which 95 were selected. NIPER Hyderabad Facilities

Hostel- All the students are provided with accommodation facilities. The campus has its own residential area which is merely 2 kms away from the institute. Additionally, students are provided with to and from bus services for easy travel from the hostel to the institute or vice versa. Separate blocks are provided for boys and girls which are fully furnished and well  ventilated with cot, wardrobe, chair, study table and a bed. Each room has a capacity of two students and has its own mess which is run by the students themselves.

Library-  A library with 6655 printed books, 9846 copies of historical research journals, and subscriptions to 19 national scientific journals, that caters to both students and the faculty.

Sports- The institute believes that sports is necessary for the overall development of the students. Hence, the institute often organizes sports events and encourages students to participate in them, these events include sports like Badminton, Volleyball and Table Tennis. Apart from this, the campus also provides a well equipped gym to all its students.

Cafeteria/Mess- The mess serves delicious and nutritious food throughout the year, wherein hygiene and cleanliness is taken care of. The mess is managed by the student committee, and makes sure to meet the needs of the students.
