NEET Result 2025: The National Testing Agency has declared the NEET UG Result 2025 in online mode. The exam-conducting body announced the tentative NEET UG result date 2025 in the official information bulletin. NTA released the NEET 2025 result on June 14, as per the specified schedule. Candidates can access their results on nta.ac.in and neet.nta.ac.in.  The NEET result 2025 is released in the form of a scorecard and merit list. To check NEET result 2025, candidates will need their login credentials, including application number and date of birth. NTA wil release the NEET results 2025 in online mode. Once released, candidates will be able to download the scorecard by following these simple steps.

  • The NEET 2025 results may be used by Central and State Government bodies as per their eligibility criteria, norms, and applicable regulations.
  • The result data will be utilized for admissions to B.Sc. (H) Nursing programs, adhering to their respective eligibility criteria and guidelines.
  • NEET results will be used for admissions under the 15% quota of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) in recognised Veterinary Colleges. The VCI must approach the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW to access the result data.
  • Aspirants seeking admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must qualify NEET. 
  • NEET scores will be used for shortlisting candidates for the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course.

The NTA will release the merit list for candidates based on their result for NEET UG exam. The NTA also releases an overall merit list for candidates which contains the details of all the students who have cleared the examination. Further, NTA shares the same merit list with the different bodies responsible for the counselling process. On the basis of this merit list, the seat allotment list is prepared by MCC and various counselling authorities.  

Types of NEET Merit Lists 

There are 3 types of merit lists issued by the exam regulatory body. Take a look at different merit lists here : 

  1. Overall Merit List: This type of merit list includes the name of the candidate along with their ranks. The merit list is prepared by the NTA and this is the final merit list for all the candidates. Further, the NTA will forward these merit lists to all counselling bodies, both national and state.
  2. 15 per cent AQI merit list: Candidates who have qualified for the NEET medical entrance exam will find their names on this type of merit list. The Medical Counselling Committee is the body that prepares the merit list. 
  3. State Quota merit list: This type of merit list is prepared by each state for 85 per cent of state quota seats. Only those candidates can find their name on this merit list who have qualified for NEET UG and registered for the counselling of that respective state.
