CUET PG Cut Off 2025: Tie-Breaking Rules
In case of a tie situation where multiple candidates achieve the same CUET(PG) - 2025 merit score for a specific program, the following criteria will be sequentially employed to resolve the tie:
- Preference will be given to the candidate with the highest average percentage over the first five semesters (or three years, for annual mode) of the Qualifying Examination, as outlined in the eligibility criteria.
- Priority will be granted to the candidate who holds a higher percentage in the fifth (or final) year of the Qualifying Examination. Should the tie persist, superior percentages from the preceding semesters (or years) will be taken into account successively to break the tie.
- If the tie remains unresolved, the age of the candidates will be considered, with preference granted to the candidate born earlier, as indicated in the Class X certificate.
