CUET PG Result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate level (CUET PG) 2026 on April 24 in online mode. Students who appeared for the CUET PG exam can check the result on the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. The CUET PG 2026 result is released in the form of a scorecard containing the marks obtained by the candidates. The NTA has uploaded the active link to download the CUET PG result 2026 on its official website. Candidates can download their CUET PG scorecard through their registration number and date of birth. 

As the NTA has released the CUET PG 2026 result, participating colleges will soon release the cut-off list/merit list. Based on the CUET PG merit list, candidates will be called for the counselling round. The CUET PG Counselling 2026 will be conducted separately by each participating college. Candidates have to apply individually for their preferred participating college and course. Each participating college releases the CUET PG seat allotment result after the successful completion of the counselling round. Candidates must note that the NTA score of CUET PG 2026 is valid for admission to the academic year 2026-27 only.

The National Testing Agency has announced the CUET PG Result 2026 on the official website. The result has been declared for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses at central universities and other CUET PG participating colleges. Through the CUET PG exam 2026, eligible candidates can take admission to courses like MA, M.SC, LLM, M.Voc, MBA, MCA, MPH, M.P.Ed, M.Tech, etc. The NTA score of CUET PG 2026 is valid for admission to the academic year 2026-27 only.

CUET PG Result Validity

As per the official NTA notification, the result validity of the CUET PG exam remains for one academic year only. If a candidate has appeared for the CUET PG exam in the year 2026, then his/her CUET PG result will remain valid only for the academic year 2026-27. The Postgraduate admissions are handled at the level of the Central and Participating Universities for their respective programmes. After the declaration of the CUET PG 2026 result by NTA, the respective universities will declare the counselling, admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET PG score and the other criteria of the respective university.

CUET PG Result 2026: Last Year's Statistics

Last year, the CUET PG exam was conducted for about 65,4019 registered candidates. The result was announced on May 6, 2025, for examinations conducted from March 13 to April 1, 2025. A total of 191 Universities (Central/State/Private and others) are participating in CUET PG. Details for the same are given below.

The candidates applied for various courses, which were tested under 157 question paper codes. The total number of question papers was 240 in different media, and the number of questions was 23624. These were used over 16 days and 43 Shifts.

CUET PG Scorecard 2026: Previous Years' Statistics

Over the years, the attendance of students for the CUET PG examinations has increased. Last year noted a total percentage of students appearing for the exam as 79.9%. The record of the Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) will be preserved up to 90 days from the date of declaration of the result. 

Candidates must note that merely appearing in the CUET  PG exam does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the desired university. The selection and admission to Postgraduate Programmes would be subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents, and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the University, where the candidate is applying.

The CUET PG result 2026 is prepared based on the final answer key. There is no re-evaluation process for the CUET PG result 2026. The marks candidates score in their CUET exam will be used to calculate their overall result. The authorities will not dispatch scorecards to the candidates; they have to download their scorecards only through the official website.

CUET PG Merit List 2026

The CUET PG merit list is the list of candidates who have successfully passed the CUET PG exam for admission to postgraduate programmes in the participating universities of CUET. Students must note that NTA has no role in releasing the CUET PG Cut-off 2026. The cut-off for the CUET PG exam will be released separately by universities after each round of counselling. CUET PG 2026 Cut-off will vary for every university. It will also differ depending on the category of the candidate and the course.

CUET PG Cut-off is decided based on several parameters. Some of these parameters are the total number of seats available, the total number of candidates who applied for the course, and the university ranking. Generally, the cutoff for admission to top universities is high.
