SNU Chennai Admission 2024 - Shiv Nadar University admission to UG, PG, and doctoral programs is done on the basis of the entrance examination - SNU CEE. Students wishing to secure admission to SNU Chennai must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. The university offers BTech, B.Com, B.Sc (Economics), BA.LLB at undergraduate level. At PG level, the university offers M.Tech (AI and Data Science). For M.Tech admission, all candidates must have completed four-year undergraduate courses in CSE, IT, AI, and associated fields. Students who have done an MSc integrated course, or a BSc Engineering (4-year course) are also eligible for applying to the program. They must also have 60% aggregate marks in their graduation

Shiv Nadar University also offers admissions to PhD programs in various specialisations across - Engineering, Science & Humanities, and Commerce. The university offers three types of Phd admission - Full Time, Part Time, and Direct PhD programs. The direct PhD program is offered.

Shiv Nadar University Admission 2024

The University offers admission UG, PG and Doctoral level programs. At UG level the university offers B Tech, B Com, B Sc in which students from commerce, science and arts background can apply. The University offers M Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at PG level, and the eligibility criteria are that students from other branches of Engineering, who have worked in AI based tasks in the industry, or students who are currently working in the industry with CSE, IT, AI field can also apply. There are 3 types of PhD program in Shiv Nadar University Chennai that is full time, part time and direct PhD. For Direct PhD Program who want to pursue  must have cleared all the eligibilty criteria, those students who are exceptionally talented can have that opportunites to get admission in Direct PhD program, to save year compared to those who go for 2 years master's degree to pursue PhD program. 

The Shiv Nadar University Chennai is newly opening The School of Law. It is situated in the SNU Chennai campus with a well furnished library, 230 acres of space. The University will offer a 5 Year BA LLB program to the first incoming batch in August 2024.

Shiv Nadar University Entrance Exam Details 2024

• Entrance examination duration will be of two hours.
• Exam pattern of the test will be conducted in both ways that are aptitude of 45 mins and core subjects 75 mins.
• To take admission in B Tech Program students must have Mathematics, chemistry, physics as mandatory subjects with a score of 50%.
• To take admission in B Com Program Students of commerce have to score 40% in mathematics and accountancy 30% which is mandatory.
• To take admission in B Sc Economics (Data Science) Program Students have to appear for Mathematics, any two of economics or general studies, computer science with 40% score.
