Shiv Nadar University Chennai is a private university established by an act of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly to offer quality education to aspirng students in engineering, management, science, humanities, and law streams. The UGC-affiliated university is ranked #62 position according to the NIRF Ranking 2024. 

SNU Chennai offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs through its four schools - Engineering, Commerce, Science & Humanities, and Law. Some of the courses that the university offers are B.Tech CSE (Artificial Intelligence), B.Tech CSE (Cyber Security), M.Tech, B.Sc Economics, Law programmes, and others.
