IISc Bangalore Placements 2024: Highest Package, Average CTC, and Median Salary

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore is a leading institute in our country in the field of science and technology. IISc Bangalore has a separate placement cell called the Office of Career Counseling and Placement (OCCaP). IISC students were offered an average package of INR 23 LPA. The highest package was INR 60 LPA for IISc Bangalore placement 2022. IISc Bangalore Bachelor of Science research, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, M.Mgt candidates were successfully placed in the placement drive while few students opted for higher studies.

According to the IISc Bangalore Placements Report 2021, 276 students were placed. Out of which, 6 of them were UG students & 270 were PG students. IISc Bangalore placement median package stood at INR 13.50 LPA for the UG candidates and INR 20 LPA for postgraduate level students. The median package of undergraduate candidates increased by 30% as compared to the previous year.  Some of the top past recruiting companies include Adobe, India Bulls, Siemens, L&T, Tech Mahindra, ICICI bank, Cognizant, Birla Soft, Cipla, etc.

IISc Bangalore Placement 2024: Summer Internship

IISc Bangalore offers internships for a period of 3 months to their students. The internship usually begins in the month of March. The candidates belonging to Ph.D., M.Tech, M.Tech (Research), M.Des, M.Mgmt, and the Undergraduate program participated in it. The highest stipend offered was INR 1.15 Lakhs per month on Campus for the Batch 2020-22. The average stipend offered was INR 57,000 for the Batch 2020-21 was INR 57,000.
