IIM Bangalore Admission 2026: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) is a leading business management school in the country. It offers its flagship course Postgraduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the students are awarded with Master of Business Administration (MBA)  and Executive MBA by the end of the programme. The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is set to begin its first undergraduate programmes in August 2026: a BSc (Hons) in Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Data Science. These four-year residential programmes will be offered at IIMB’s upcoming campus in Jigani under the new School of Multidisciplinary Studies. Admissions will begin in September 2025. Each programme will have 40 seats, with a total intake expected to grow to 640 by 2031. Eligibility requires 60% marks in Mathematics in Class XII and an overall 60% in Class X. There is an age limit of 20 years for general and 22 years for reserved category students. The annual fee is ₹8.5 lakh, with financial aid available for deserving students. The registration for IIM Bangalore's 4-year Undergraduate program session 2026 has started online at https://ug.iimb.ac.in/.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the following conditions to be eligible:

• Age must be 20 years or younger as of 1 August 2026.
• Must have completed Class XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Mathematics should be a subject in Class XII.
• A minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in Class X is required.

IIM Bangalore Admissions 2025: Courses and Fees

The IIM Bangalore admission for the academic year 2024-2026 will be done on the basis of CAT 2024 score. The postgraduate level programs offered by IIM Bangalore are MBA (PGP), MBA BA (PGP-BA) (Business Analytics), and MBA for working professionals (PGPEM) for a period of 2 years. It also offers an MBA for experienced professionals (EPGP) which is a full-time 1 year residential programme. Along with these, IIM Bangalore provides a postgraduate programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) and a Doctoral level program (Ph.D.) for a duration of 5 years. • A caution deposit of INR 15,000 (one time) is to be paid separately at the time of registration for the general category.

IIM Bangalore Admission 2025: Eligibility and Selection Criteria

IIM Bangalore offers MBA PGP for a duration of 2 years. It also offers an MBA for experienced professionals (EPGP) and an MBA for working professionals (PGPEM).  The eligibility and selection criteria for MBA  postgraduate programmes at IIM Bangalore is that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree and should have a valid CAT score. Apart from this, the student should be able to clear the written ability test and personal interview rounds for admission at IIM Bangalore. 

IIM Bangalore has released its admission policy for 2025; there have been no changes in the weightage of CAT scores. As per the eligibility criteria, a candidate who possesses a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PW category) will be eligible for MBA admissions in IIMB.

IIM Bangalore MBA-BA Admission 2025

IIM Bangalore MBA-BA is for the duration of 2 years and the minimum eligibility criteria for applying is a bachelor’s degree. The candidate also has to submit a valid CAT score and appear for a written ability test along with a personal interview. The batch seat intake is 45.

IIM Bangalore EPGP Admission 2025

IIM Bangalore EPGP is for the duration of 1 year and the minimum eligibility criteria for applying is a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and 5 years of work experience. The candidate also has to submit a valid CAT score and appear for a written ability test along with a personal interview. The batch seat intake is 75.

IIM Bangalore PGPEM is for the duration of 1 year and the minimum eligibility criteria for applying is a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and 4 years of work experience.
