Gurukula Kangri Haridwar: Gurukula Kangri (deemed to be a University), formally known as Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV) is a public university located on the banks of river Ganga in the spiritual city of Haridwar. 

The university was founded in 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandaji with the aim of reviving the ancient Indian Gurukula System of Education. It imparts knowledge in the area of Vedic literature, Indian philosophy, Indian culture, modern sciences and research. It is deemed to be a university and fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India.

GKV has been advocating women’s education since its inception, two campuses, the Kanya Gurukula campus for women's education were established in 1922 and 1993 in Dehradun and Haridwar.

GKV Haridwar Admission 2025

The Gurukula Kangri (GKV) Haridwar admissions in various UG, PG, Diploma and PhD courses are based on National-level eligibility exams like CUET-UG, CUET-PG, NET/JRF, CEED, etc.

The undergraduate and postgraduate admissions 2024 are closed, whereas PhD admissions notifications are out. Direct PhD admission for NET/JRF/CEED result holders is underway for GKV, Haridwar. 

The notifications for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions for 2025 at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV) regarding CUET-UG/PG will be announced soon. Following the release of the CUET results, GKV will activate its admission portal for counseling registrations.
