REET Preparation 2025:  The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is conducted for the candidates who wish to teach students at the primary and upper primary levels in government schools of Rajasthan. The teacher eligibility test is considered to be one of the most popular state-level entrance exams for teachers. Candidates must have a comprehensive preparation strategy to qualify for the exam. Aspirants are advised to start their preparation as early as possible. The first step towards the right preparation for the candidate is to be well-versed in the exam syllabus and exam pattern.

REET Exam is conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur (RSSB) in two levels. Level 1 is conducted for candidates who wish to teach students of classes 1 to 5, whereas Level 2 is conducted for candidates who wish to teach students of classes 6 to 8. An important thing that plays an essential role in preparation for the examination is the correct study material and books. REET Preparation 2025 - When to Begin?

REET syllabus is comprehensive, hence it requires thorough practice and revision. Candidates who will appear for the examination should have an effective preparation strategy. With thorough preparation, candidates can achieve their desired scores in the REET result 2025.

Candidates should start their preparation for the examination as early as possible because the REET syllabus for level 1, as well as level 2, is extensive. Hence, if a candidate begins with their preparation early, they will have plenty of time to prepare each important topic in detail.

REET Preparation 2025 - How to Start?

The first step for a candidate to begin their REET preparation is to go through the REET syllabus. Since the teacher eligibility test is divided into two parts, Level 1 and Level 2, the syllabus for both levels is different. Level 1 of the REET exam consists of five subjects, including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies, whereas Level 2 syllabus has four subjects including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. 

Once the candidate has studied the syllabus, they should understand the REET exam pattern. As per the pattern laid out for the teacher eligibility test, the duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours. The exam will consist of a total of 150 questions. The mode of the examination is offline, which means candidates have to go to the exam centre and attempt the exam in a pen and paper-based format.  The questions will be in MCQ format, and the difficulty level for both exams is equivalent to class 12th.  The exam consists of negative marking, that is, a 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
