REET Preparation 2024:  The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is conducted for those candidates who wish to teach students at the primary and upper primary levels in government schools of Rajasthan. The teacher eligibility test is considered to be one of the most popular state-level entrance exam for teachers. Candidates must have a comprehensive preparation strategy in order to qualify in the exam. Aspirants are advised to start their preparation as early as possible. The first step towards the right preparation for the candidate is to be well-versed in the exam syllabus and exam pattern.

REET Exam is conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) in two levels. Level 1 is conducted for candidates who wish to teach students of classes 1 to 5 whereas level 2 is conducted for candidates who wish to teach students of classes 6 to 8.

An important thing which plays an essential in preparation for the examination is the correct study material and books. Aspirants must refer the books which cover most of the topics as well as the subjects in the examination and are recommended by experts. 

The official authorities have not announced the REET exam dates as of now. The tentative months for the release of the answer key and results are yet to be notified. 

REET Preparation 2024 - When to begin?

REET syllabus is comprehensive in nature hence it requires thorough practice and revision. Candidates who will appear for the examination should have an effective preparation strategy. With a thorough preparation, candidates can achieve get their desired scores in REET result 2024.

Candidates should start their preparation for the examination as early as possible because the REET syllabus for level 1, as well as level 2, is extensive in nature. Hence, if a candidate begins with their preparation early, they will have plenty of time to prepare each important topic in detail.

REET Preparation 2024 - How to start?

The first step for a candidate to begin with their REET preparation is to go through the REET syllabus. Since the teacher eligibility test is divided into two parts, - Level 1 and Level 2, the syllabus for both levels is different. Level 1 of the REET exam consists of 5 subjects including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies, whereas Level 2 syllabus has 4 subjects including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. 

Once the candidate has studied the syllabus, they should understand the REET exam pattern. As per the pattern laid out for the teacher eligibility test, the duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours. The exam will consist of a total of 150 questions. The mode of the examination is offline, which means candidates have to go to the exam centre and attempt the exam in pen and paper-based format.  The questions will be in MCQ format, and the difficulty level for both exams is equivalent to class 12th.  The exam consists of negative marking, that is, 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Understand REET Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern 

Candidates are advised to check the REET syllabus and exam pattern before they begin their preparation. Once the aspirants have an idea of what exactly the syllabus and exam pattern entail, they can then begin with their preparation accordingly. 

Prepare One Topic at a Time 

Dividing time for every subject can help students to work on each topic without missing any essential points. Since the REET syllabus is comprehensive in nature, some topics might take more time during while others might take less time. Hence it is important for candidates to allocate time for every topic.
