REET Exam Pattern 2023: REET Exam Pattern is prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) on its official website. Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern before beginning their preparation for the examination. Since the REET exam has two papers - paper 1 and paper 2, the exam pattern for both levels is different. The exam pattern helps the candidate to have an idea about the duration of the exam, whether the exam has negative markings or not and other such details. The teacher eligibility exam is 2.5 hours for both levels. Both levels will have 150 questions, and the exam will be conducted in offline mode. While the REET level 1 exam consists of 5 subjects, level 2 has 4 subjects. The questions in the exam will be asked in Objective or Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates must know that there is no negative marking for any wrong questions.

Candidates must know that the REET exam consists of two levels. While level 1 is for the candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, level 2 is for those candidates who want to teach students of classes 6 to 8. Hence, the exam pattern will be different for both levels.

REET Level 2 Exam Pattern
- This level of the exam consists of 4 sections including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Science & Mathematics, or Social Science.
- The difficulty level of the exam will be class 12 or graduate level.
- Candidates are required to complete the examination in 150 minutes

REET Main Exam Pattern
The REET mains exam will be taken to recruit third-grade teachers in the schools of Rajasthan. The SSC has announced the dates for the REET main exam and the exam has been scheduled for February 25 and 28 in 2023. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam should be aware of the exam pattern as it will help them in qualifying for the examination.
There will be level 1 (primary classes) and level 2 (upper primary classes) for the REET main examinations. For the REET level 1 and level 2 exams, the exam pattern is provided below in the article.
REET Main Level 1 Exam Pattern
Candidates who wish to become a teacher for (classes 1 to 5) in the government school of Rajasthan will appear for the REET main level 1 exam.
- The REET Main level 1 exam will have a total of 300 marks
- The exam will consist of 150 questions in total, and the nature of the questions will be MCQ types
- The exam will have a negative mark as 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer, and candidates will get 2 marks for every right answer
- The duration of the exam is of 150 minutes and candidates have to attempt the exam in the given time period
REET Main Level 2 Exam Pattern
